My sister-in-law has visited this restaurant often and has gotten to know the owners who hail from the Italian region of Puglia...I went for the first time with my wife, sister-in-law and mother-in-law...we met one of the owners and she was absolutely warm, gracious and welcoming...we ordered fried calamaria and shrimp as appetizer to share...it was crispy, yet tender....mother-in-law and I ordered one of the 4 specials being offered that night...all of them sounded delicious...we ordered the Short Ribs with Risotto...WOW...really great flavor...wife ordered spaghetti bolgonese and sister-in-law ordered Pollo Francese....we all ordered wine with dinner...extensive selection...the waitress was very attentive...have got to get back to here for another dinner...

Portions are huge (small serves 3, large serves 5) so if you have a group you have to compromise on your choice. And then you get extraordinarily average pasta. SO much spaghetti with pasty meatballs. Dry salmon with vegetables. Why?Why go here and not to a neighborhood joint that cooks fresh to order? We are sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience and value your feedback. We will be sure to share this experience with our staff in an effort to improve future guest experiences.

The food tasted good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. BUT the portions were obscenely huge. It was enough for three people instead of one. Everyone we saw was taking home a carry out box of leftovers. We were able to feed ourselves and the grandchildren the next day! Sorry, I was raised to finish what is served on my plate and that is physically impossible with these servings. This was good Italian-American food but there is absolutely no way these portions would be served in Italy. Even Nonna would not put this much on a plate!

Great little place. Good menu and service. We walked in early evening and were seated at the bar and watched our food being prepared. Enjoyed the food and the experience. The place is obviously popular and if you happen to arrive at a busy time and have to put your name down for a table ,it is definitely worth waiting for.

Locally owned and operated, this unique Italian restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine featuring large portions and quick service at this neighborhood eatery. Not only do you get good food and lots of it, but I think the best feature of this restaurant is the "free corkage" for any wine you bring into the establishment. Go early or make reservations, the place fills up from the time they open.

We were introduced to this restaurant by our Southern California family. They accommodated a family of 10 with no problem. Mangia Mangia makes you feel like family and everyone of us loved how delicious the food was. We ordered appetizers, entreeâs, and desert. All of the food was top of the top. I know the next time weâre down south visiting our family weâre going to Mangia Mangia for sure. Absolutely loved it!!!

Freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The Zucchini Parmesan Appetizer ($10) was extremely freshly prepared. The Meatball Pizza ($22, large) was overcooked, meatballs were not plentiful and lacked flavor. The Chicken Lasagna ($14.99) was freshly prepared, rich & creamy. Enjoyed the lasagne and eager to try their beef lasagna.Small & intimate restaurant.Service was friendly & attentive.Parking is limited, but we timed it right. They share parking with an Inn. Some curb parking.

Capones has newly remodeled! We took over the space next door, tore down the wall and created more seating and a new whole new look to our bar area! Capone's Cucina has been a family run restaurant in the heart of Huntington beach. Preparing fresh sauces,
We tried it all !! June was our server and she was fantastic. Caprese salad was very good and so fresh. The best martini I have EVER had, the lemon chiffon one. OMG, I would like to order another but needed to save room for the wonderful chicken marsala dinner. Ate every bite and I usually take half home....not this time. Husband ordered the veal parmesan and loved it. Nice size portion and loaded with cheese. Everything tastes like it was made from scratch. Had to try a few desserts, the cannoli was delicious. The filling was yummy. Our friends tried the soup and the signature specialty dish and raved about both. From the outside it doesn't look like much in a strip mall, but once inside it's quaint and the food is worth the wait....WE WILL GO BACK....and soon I hope.... Must try

My friend had his 50th surprise birthday party here in the private room upstairs. The ambiance, food, bread, wine, and waiter service was all good. I wish I was hungrier to enjoy more of the pasta dishes that were passed around. Slices of birthday cake were passed around and it was delicious, I'm not sure if they made it in their kitchen.
