We were coming back from vacation in Maine. I had been hungry for a nice Sunday Italian meal. It was raining and a bit chilly so it's easier to eat a heavy meal. I was a bit disappointed in the meal, however I kind of liked the environment. It wasn't fancy, the ceilings had those acoustic tiles which were stained, but that's not uncommon in larger buildings like Guiseppe's. Also, my grandfather's name was Guiseppe, so we had to stop. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I though it would be. I'd have to say the stuffed pepper soup was the best. I had eggplant with ziti. I usually don't get ziti, but thought I'd give it a try. Way to heavy for me, but my companion chipped in and help make a dent in my plate. It wasn't a bad experience at all, just an ok experience. The restaurant is huge and seems great for events and large groups. Definitely worth a try, the price was great and our waiter was fun.

Tried this place for the first time and was very pleased. The portion sizes were quite large and the food was fresh and tasty. Heard the Parmesan Garlic wings are great. Will be back to try!

Of all the Bennington restaurants my husband and I have tried, Allegro is hands-down my favorite. The ambience and service are very good. The food is excellent, and that's saying something--our standard is high. The foid is fresh and freshly crafted. The result? A wonderful meal.

Ramuto's is a local chain of pizzerias in the various cities in Vermont, and New Hampshire offering visitors and locals with an array of good (though not great) uniform Italian eating experience. Large salads, appys, pasta, and a multitude of types of pizza, from one slice to a large pie, are served up, with each location sporting a good bar as well. Good service. Fair prices, large portions.
