Big Mamma's is a restaurant and a takeaway. I have been eating there at several occasions. In July 2017 I went there with my brother, and we kept it simple. A vegetarian lasagne and a pizza, with a carafe of red wine. The food is good, I have never really been disappointed there. The pizzas are well made, there is a good choice, and they always have extra chilli and garlic that they put on the table on request. As most other Italian restaurants they are flexible, so you can modify your pizza to your hearts delight.Other than that there is a good choice of starters and other main courses, and a decent wine list as well. The restaurant effectively consists of two rooms with rather limited seating capacity. The setup is cafe style in my mind, but nothing wrong with that. The price is set accordingly, so it is fairly cheap by Danish standards. Great place to go for a quick and simple Italian meal. If you want a longer seance or a more formal setup you might want to look elsewhere.

I've been staying with friends for six weeks in Lyngby. This is defiantly one of the best restaurants in this affluent community. Low prices and large portions of good home cooked style meals. Despite the "pizza" in their name, Gordian is far from that. You can get anything from the standard Danish fare to great aged steaks and the pasta dishes are all outstanding. Close to the Lyngby S-train station it is easy to get to. There are little outdoor tables as well for those oh-so rare occasions when it is nice weather in Denmark. I've been at least six time and will return again.

This is an Italian restaurant actually owned by Italians. With fantastic Italian food, a nice atmosphere and nice service. There are great variety in the days specials. They always go out of the way to accommodate special requests and help if any is needed. The take out is a reasonable price and so authentic, but you have to call ahead and order. They are very busy and some days they do not have time for take out until late.
Kom lige tilbage i kampen igen ... - det er for øv det her !

We were here for a private party of 40 people and had an amazingly prepared 3-course meal. Started with a plate of mixed antipasti, tasty, fresh, beautifully prepared. Then beef fillet with a slightly truffle-tasting sauce, crispy and fresh veggies, and lively mashed potatoes. The meat was tender and perfect. Tiramisu for dessert. This is a cosy place, where locals eat but also pick up a pizza to go. Try it!
SO nice to have a friendly pizzaria in town, offering the real stuff - This is not your run-off-the-mill pizza-place with 17-toppings-, kebab- or lettuce on every other pizza. This is where you get pizzas with a few select toppings, that are just right. In addition, a wine- and snack sample is often available to sweeten the wait, while the pizza is being prepared, oftentimes making the waiting time feel slightly too short...

Homemade Italian food with delicacies from Parma and Emilia Romagna. Famous for Parmigiano Reggiano (the one and only Parmesan cheese) and Prosciutto di Parma (Parma ham). Parma is now ambassador of the Food Valley worldwide: the city has been declared th
I can't really compare with other Italian restaurants as my experience is quite limited, but based on my one visit so far I was very happy with the pasta dish I ordered. The dishes are made as per original recipe, e.g. the bolognese is not made with tomato as we are used to here, however this is how it has been done for centuries in Bologna. The pasta is fresh and the portions are generous. I came mid-afternoon at the weekend, where the place was packed and was worried that I would have to spend hours to get served. That was not the case, although it looked a bit messy behind the bar the staff were efficient and friendly, and I heard many customers thanking the chefs for their excellent food. Will definitely be coming back.

This is basically an Itlalan/pizza restaurant. The basic pizza (only one size offered} is too big for one person but too small for two !! The other meals are good portion sizes and can be recommended.`the place is very popular particularly on weekend evening and you must book for, if you take pot luck, you will either be politely turned away or gave a long, long wait.
