Don't let yourself be fooled by the name of this hidden gem. Pizza station Dolomiti is a no nonsense restaurant in the dormant place of Obdam, of all places. But what a treat! The Italian chef serves genuine authentic Italian dishes. The taste of his food makes one reminscence of beautiful trips to Italy in bygone era's.They come with a very friendly and pleasant service and if that weren't enough to guarantee a succesful meal, a personal welcome greeting of the chef at your table makes your meal complete. Need I still recommend this place? Many times, we've eaten less well in places far more expensive and more uptown looking. Therefore... don't let yourself be fooled by its name. Warmly recommended.

Indeed a true Italian restaurant, with proper antipasti, primi, secondi and dolci. Not a very extensive menu, but all dishes are made fresh. Bread served is a bit old, and not of the right quality.We had carpaccio of veal and beef. Nice and tender. Well prepared. This was followed by risotto (indeed good risotto, not the standard reboiled rice you normally get) and ravioli. Finally some gambas (which were not cleaned, however no bowl of water was served to clean your hands...) and fish 5 (well prepared). They had some very nice matching wines with it, served in small glasses so possible to drive back.Overall very nice price/quality.

Big thanks to Mr. Franco for the amazing service well given with patience, kindness and professionality. Good pizzas and pasta in very large portions. My family loves this place. Thanks to all the Tavernina staff.
