I've been here a few times with colleagues. We often arrive after 8pm and the place is packed with large groups. The servers are then very busy and perhaps impatient. It's the sort of situation where you order your food and drink all at once! But earlier in the evening when they aren't so busy then they are quite patient and quite lovely. The food is ok. It's not something to write home about. This is one of those places where people smoke inside the restaurant and while there is a very small non smoking section, there are not partitions so it's pretty easy for the air to move about. Despite the smoky smoky, the restaurant has a nice corner for kids to play in, and a sandpit outside for when it's warmer or a meal during the day time if you sit outside.

Ich bin begeistert! Der Koch weià ganz genau was er tut! Yummie wirklich extrem lecker!Guter und zuvorkommender Service, sehr kurze Wartezeit auf das Essen und einen Gruà aus der Küche gab's auch ;)Alles in allem ein sehr gutes und extrem gemütliches Restaurant.Ich werde wieder kommen und bedanke mich für das Essenz den schönen Abend!

Colleagues took me to this Italian restaurant in the city center of Halle. Despite being a Thursday evening there were many tables available and by the time we left at 2200, we were the last customers. Service was entertaining bordering on the slightly surreal picking up the odd tidbit from our conversation and providing opinions broadly related to them. But altogether service was friendly and helpful. Food was average though, my veal liver with what felt like deep fried onions and a salad of raw tomatoes. The liver had some stringy bits and there was an incongruous amount of onions compared to the veal. The other guests did not comment on the food so I suspect that they also considered it average.

This is a small restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating provision. We had our lunch here and I must say that I enjoyed the pizza very much. The pizza was super fresh and was good in size as well. The restaurant is simple and functional and the service is good too.

I'm a little biased being Italian, but the food here was standard Taverna/Osteria food (Trattoria was a little bit of a misnomer). The staff didn't speak much English, but were very nice. Great Aperol spritz!

In Stella you can have a feeling you are in Italy (staff, music, pictures and of course, lot of different types of italian meals and drinks). Staff is very kind, especially the boss who is always ready for jokes and giving the best recommandations. I suggest you to try bufala, parmigiana or padrino pizza. Buon appetito!

Very cosy, nice restaurant. All people know italian food. But not always italian food is tasty and made with love and joy. So, in this restaurant is possible to eat really good Italian dishes and even (!) to drink a good bottle of wine, that is also not always a must in restaurants.

Fortunately, the local friend who introduced us to this congenial restaurant knew to order two interesting appetizers -- hot olives with hot peppers and sauteed zucchini with a slice of Parma ham -- as appetizers for our table, so that we could enjoy them with crusty bread while we chose from the extensive menu. In addition to the expected fish, chicken, beef and pork, there seafood, lamb and duck figured prominently. I ordered the spaghetti with duck, my husband chose spaghetti with prawns, one friend had the salmon salad and another the special of the day, sea bream with asparagus and potatoes. Everything was tasty, but the pasta dishes were long on spaghetti and a bit skimpy on duck and shrimp. Several of us finished off with ice cream. My ball of dark chocolate (nero) rolled in cocoa powder was scrumptious.
