Last week I was here to have dinner with my colleague. We both had a pizza. I think the price/quality ratio was ok. The waitress was really friendly and attentive. She even offered me a doggybag for the leftovers of my pizza. But since I stayed in a hotel that was not really an option.

During my recent 2 week long stay in Berching I visited several local restaurants. Pizzeria Italia Antica quickly became the favorite place for me and my friends. The restaurant was much quieter than other places, with several small tables, so we could have conversations without having to shout at each other.The food was excellent! My favorite was the Pizza Frutti di Mare, which was conveniently available in a smaller size, as were all other pizzas, too. I'd rather eat a small pizza and a nice dessert than part of a large pizza and then feel too stuffed to move! So my favorite dessert was the vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries and whipped cream, which was available a a very decent price.The service was fast and friendly, and from the third visit on I was treated like family. I can't wait to visit Berching again - partly because of this exceptional little restaurant!

Das Braeustueberl liegt am Weg zum Schloss Hirschberg toll über dem Ort. Die Speisekarte bietet ein rustikal italienisches Angebot getreu dem Motto "Keine Experimente". Meine Lasagne "Al Forno" war denn auch so gewählt und der empfohlene Tafelwein passte ins Bild. Die groÃartige Location (urig wirklich) ist der Pluspunkt und lohnt den Besuch. Das Gebotene eher zweitrangig aber durchaus ordentlich.

a good menu of Italian food, menu not available n English so you may have to take a chance!A nice place to sit outside and enjoy a pizza or pasta, set back from the road it is quiet. The menu is reasonably priced, I had a starter a main course of pasta a coffee and a bottle of water all for 15 euros.

Bereits 2018 waren wir im Il Timone und waren von der grenzenlosen Arroganz des "Wirts" unangenehm berührt. Aber es hat ja jeder mal einen schlechten Tag... Also gaben wir "ihm" heute eine zweite Chance... Es lief wie folgt: wir setzen uns um kurz vor 14 Uhr an einen freien, sonnigen Tisch im Aussenbereich. Der Tisch war im Gegensatz zu anderen Tischen nicht eingedeckt. Als wir ca. 5 Minuten saÃen rief uns der Wirt zu, dass der Tisch reserviert ist. Obwohl kein Schild darauf hin wies standen wir auf und warteten auf den Wirt. Dieser sah uns, bog ins Lokal ab und lieà uns stehen "wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt". Sorry!!! Bei dem Preisniveau erwarte ich ein Mindestmaà an Service... Garantiert: nie wieder!!!!!

this is ok if you fancy a pizza or some pasta, food is ok but would not get too excited about it.Outside seating area which is nice when the weather is warm.
