Two of us plus our new best friends rocked up to Il Trifoglio, ready to have fun. We were all celebrating the last few hours of a wonderful holiday. Antonio was ready for us and showed us his meat. He dry-ages his Scottona beef for 40 days, which allows his chef to cook it properly rare, without it being bloody. I can't remember many of the details of what everybody else ate - I was was just concentrating on my 1kg+ slab of beautiful beef. We had a pretty decent red to help it along, but they also had a surprisingly good craft beer on offer. R and Y both enjoyed their starters and mains and although the restaurant was quite quiet, we had a memorable evening.

This place is a simple, non pretentious, Italian restaurant. Great local dishes including home made fresh pasta, aged meats, and fresh seafood. The staff is quick, efficient, and friendly. Most speak some English which makes it so much easier for travelers.

Dinner at Villa Palmentiello was an unforgettable experience. The first words of appreciation go to the Maître de Salle. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable! Well beyond knowledge. Putting passion, pleasure, heart and soul into his métier. The food was fabulous, presented to the most accurate detail and, as the dishes would come to the table, the Maître de Salle would be there, explaining the dish and giving suggestions. The wine and many of the products used in the preparation of the meal were produced locally, at the property, as this is an "agriturismo". The supporting staff were very professional and efficient, attentive to our needs and committed to making the evening a very special occasion. The view is fantastic. Our thanks and congratulations to the Maître de Salle, the Chef and the supporting staff for this unforgettable evening. Highly recommended!

We have been a few days around and we went inside the restaurant half full, without any information.Service was very professional, food was excellent, and the quality of food amazing, unfortunately my pregnant girlfriend , not feeling well, and myself quite full we were not in the mood for a gastronomic experience. We enjoyed all the food and the effort of preparing it, but we left after the main course. The service offered us the pre desserts to take away unexpectedly. We wer really impressed by the quality, effort, and generosity of the servers and restaurant members. Unfortunately, everything was perfect apart of the customers.

The food is the highlight of this restaurant. We had the antipasti to start local top quality mozzarella, , the range of meats served and the quantity was large and very, very tasty. They then served amazing folded pizza called Panuzzo, which is a special pizza from part of the Naples province - it was stuffed full of pepperoni (I mean full of meat, which makes a refreshing change), mozzarella and tomato sauce and baked in a wood oven, of course! The meal was a little pricey, at over 10 Euros per pizza and the owner was a little defensive about this, but none the less gave us a small discount, the menu that night was limited and the end of dinner liqueurs were served in plastic shot glasses- therefore, there are some areas for improvement. The quality of the food and an attentive members of staff made it an excellent dining experience.

We were welcomed by the owners like long lost friends and we were given a detailed explanation of the 4 course menu. The menu a la carte includined wine and with the Groupon voucher the dinner amounted to â¬34.90 per couple, instead of â¬83.00.The service was friendly and the dishes were prepared with a perfect blend of local products, sympathetically presented in a pleasing enviroment. There is also an opportunity to dine outside during the summer months. The kitchen is open to view and there was also a range of handmade artisan pasta on display, available for purchase. We will be back soon as there is so much that remains to be sampled and enjoyed.Thank you very much We are plesed to have you herecome back to visit us and taste our new menuHave a good day The Team of Pasta Cuomo

The farm is located in the upper part of Gragnano and has a charming panorama stretching from the Gulf of Naples with Mount Vesuvius, the mountain Faito. There are two air-conditioned rooms, a terrace where we serve in the summer, a garden and a space for
We visited last night and the view was breathtaking. Beautiful restaurant. We're from London and speak nearly no Italian and the waiter also no English so it was fun trying to communicate. We also couldn't find a menu online and when we arrived we couldn't understand the menu ! So we did our best but the food was lovely!! The antipasti were delicious, all of it. The mains I thought were lovely as well, the guys had the meat platter which they loved. My friend didn't love her pasta as much but I thought the whole meal was great. Would def go again. Just need to learn some Italian first!

Read excellent reviews and decided to seek this restaurant out for our final night out in Italy. We were not disappointed. I can honestly say the entire experience was amazing, the waiter was so helpful and informative. We too had the best tasting experience of Italian food we have ever had in Italy or authentic Italian restaurants in the UK. If youâre in the area, itâs a must. A word of advice, itâs situated in a little shopping area off the main square. You can park for 50c an hour just down the road and walk back up. Iâve posted pics of the signage outside the centre to help. Enjoy

Me and my partner passed through Gragnano on our way to the Amalfi Coast in September and were told to come eat at this very beautiful and charming little place. If we had more time we would have loved to have stayed, as the settings truly were breathtaking but lunch was perfect enough for us.Although this hotel is not an easy find; having to drive through the one way streets, finding tiny turnings and driving up a very steep and cobble road/path, the wait & search was well worth it.One of the most hospitable experiences of my life, having turned up at about midday and being told that they were closed for lunch, the lovely lady who seemed to not only be the chef but also the house keeper, porter, receptionist, you name it, told us that she would cook us lunch and hoped we didn't mind having the restaurant to ourselves and if the local produce was ok for us, then she would whip something together for around 1pm. To our amazement, we could only but take up her offer, as she seemed more than happy to accommodate us as we were only on a short visit.Everything we got given was delicious and huge ahha! To start with, we had an antipasti board of ham and cheese, along with bruschetta, some zucchini, aubergines, peppers, bread and a lovely bottle of white wine from their vineyards. To follow we had the best pasta that can be made from Gragnano with pomodoro and more bread, Then for dessert my partner had a chocolate mouse, which was a struggle to fit in but he did it!!After this we went to pay and bought a few homemade jams, truffle fettucine, limone linguine and these amazing pasta shells, for which we will use for Ragu once back in England. All together the bill came to 70 euros, we gave a 10 euro tip and left with full belly's, smiles and the desire to go back the next time we visit that area of Italy again. Once again Italy proves that not only do they sell some of the best produce in the world but their love for sharing and caring for something they have lived all their lives for, makes visits like these so magical and something I would love to see more in England!!! Grazie mille
