Essen lecker, Kaffee auch. Service freundlich. Wieso es in Deutschland noch Locations gibt, die nur Bargeld akzeptieren, mitten in einem Tourihotspot, weiss nur der liebe Gott...

During our visit in Zgorzelec, we are very often there, we had lunch in this very, very nice restaurant. It is so nice and very, very clean there. The menu and the selection is excellent. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very fine. We starters and main dishes. When the food came, we were speechless. Every food was a work of art.It was so nice and the taste was sooooo excellent. We had visited many restaurants at Zgorzelec till now, but the Restauracja Deliszys is for us the best. Thank you so much, for the wonderfull stay.
This Enoteca is found in an old Napoleonian house at a central Görlitz square Obermarkt. If you are lucky you might as well stay in this building (via Airbnb) which was visited by Napoleon I himself as well as a number of other notable visitors. The Enoteca is on the ground floor and is open daily until about 7 pm and until midnight on the weekends. Marco manages his collection of fine Italian wines and grappas himself. Outdoor seating is quite romantic, this is a place for young couples of a group of friends who enjoy exquisite good wine. A bit pricey, but then again drinks here are to savour along with nice antipasti. This is post-dinner lounge type wine bar.

...and not just pizza, Gorlitz is well served by a host of excellent restaurants and this newcomer could easily give a host of pricey London restaurants 'a run for their money'. Their attention to detail really shows; perfect combination of delicious food, wine & a lovely setting, I can strongly recommend their fish soup! The Untermarkt or Lower Market is in the heart of the Altstadt or Old Town of Gorlitz near the Rathaus or Town Hall. Well worth a visit.

Zgorzelec is the Polish side or the German towmn of Gorlitz . Needs to be rated along side its German counter parts. I have been here 20 times on business over the last 5 years and really needs to be known about
I had a business visit in Goerlitz and asked the client for lunch recommendations and he recommended this place. When I saw the prices I was surprised they were similar to a good restaurant in.Amsterdam where I live. But then I realised it was in zloty not Euros, so it is 1/4 of the price. Choice and quality, presentation and service were very good ( and I am a bit of a snob ), the location is handy as it is on the border to the historical centre. I will come back. Susann
Sprechende Speisekarte, der Kellner erklärt die drei Vorspeisen und drei bis vierHauptgerichte. Ds klingt wenig , ist aber völlig ausreichend. Liebevoll und nett gemacht. Preislich i.O. , kann man öfter besuchen , wenn der Weg in die Provinz nicht ganz sio weit wäre. Volle Empfehlung!

This beautiful, old, charming restaurant was great! Our first night in Germany was made perfect by dinner in this place. The cheerful chef was only outshined by the generous waiter/host for the evening. The ambience was old world, clean, happy, warm and open to enjoy. Wine and drink referrals were perfect, dinner suggestions were shared while conversation made us feel at home. Barrel vaulted ceilings, stone floors, enthusiastic staff, and delicious recipes make Da Vinci a destination to visit. Well trained, perfect manners, and a well served meal is one thing, patience for tourists and accurate recommendations for 4 different palates is a real winner! We closed the place down, the staff never rushed us or encouraged us to move along. So glad we have the opportunity to experience Da Vinci, an unexpected highlight but one we would recommend to everyone.

When we visited there the restaurant was fully reserved. When I asked the waitress she said "nur draussen" (= go outside) it sounds quite impolite and a bit arrogant . I deceided to go.
