First, it's way off the beaten path and if you don't know Mainz....pull out the GPS. It's on the far south end of the city. Parking within the property is limited to five or six cars, so prepare to find a place along the street. As for the garden, it is a very well landscaped garden area with umbrellas and a terrific place to entertain friends or clients. Food is absolutely Sicilian in nature and the staff are the BEST that you will find in any Mainz restaurant. Authentic dishes....great salad....decent wine list. Pricing reasonable. Reservations are probably mandatory for Friday or Saturday evening. Would strongly recommend the place but it's nowhere near the river front and about tens minutes from the autobahn.

Lived on the nearby American base for several years and have visited family there over the last 10 or so years. never visited this place. Our daughter recommended as the best restaurant in Hochheim. It probably is. Dinner here with family and it was lots of fun. Meals were excellent. Kids ate pasta and pizza and had a great time with the staff. so we will return on our next visit to Hochheim

Here with local friends, our group numbered six. The meal was leisurely paced definitely not rushed. Very welcoming environment if not a bit crowded and noisy. Extensive menus with enough options for us vegetarians. I was not to keen on my entree because the salmon was fishy but everything else was nice. The service was better than the food with highly polished professional waiters. Prices were moderate but there were a a few costly menu items that nobody at our table ordered. Next time I would avoid the fish but otherwise it's a keeper.

So unwillkommen war mein Geld selten. Der Wirt vermittelt einem sofort das Gefühl das man dankbar sein darf wenn er antwortet. Und das auch noch in einem beeindruckend müffeligen Ton. Das Essen war unterer Durchschnitt - Ambiente lieblos. Nie wieder.

When we looked up this restaurant, two days ago, we were looking for a Mexican menu. We pulled up to the restaurant, looked at the menu, and left. Today, we wanted Italian, and stopped by. By far, this was the best food and service you could ask for. All 3 of us had a spectacular plate. I even asked for additions to my meal, and it was delivered. Please check into how you are listed in Trip Advisor. This is a keeper, and now listed as a favorite in our Garmin.

Mimmo hat sich hier seinen Traum erfüllt. Nicht mehr nur Pizza, sondern Restaurant mit italienischem Tutch. Breite Auswahl von den Tortellini bis zum Steak. Gute Weine. Gediegene Atmosphäre, "Garten" vor der Tür. Parkplatz findet man im nahen Umfeld. Sehr schön für eine Mittag/Abend mit Schatz(i) oder Familie.

We ordered a calzone, a medium salmon pizza, and a small margarita pizza. The food was hot and fresh upon arrival. The delivery service was fast! The pizzas were very good, especially the fish pizza, which is a new favorite.

A very good restaurant with very friendly staff, the food is excellent and the price reasonable, when we have visitors to Germany we always make sure we take them here.They have a very good menu ( pizza, nudels, steaks, schnitzels, fish and salads )

Very good food and friendly service!! We had the newly harvested aspargus with scnitzel and potstoes, it was very nice. I had the tiramisu for dessert, very BIG one and nice taste. Provning ok with regards to the quality of the food. Thank you!
