We ordered pizza here after everything else in town closed, which means they're open late! We only ordered pepperoni and cheese but it was really good pizza! Had a chance to meet the new owners who have taken over, really nice people. I would highly recommend this place if you don't like a good homemade pizza!

We ordered food on the phone, and elected to pickup our large order. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor of an small, older apartment complex. The establishment was grimy, and apparently more focused on to-go orders than dine-in. We were told our order would be ready in 30 minutes, and arrived about 5 minutes before the forecasted pickup time. We sat in the restaurant for over an hour waiting for our order (1.5 hours past when we placed the order). The counter clerk offered no apology or concern about our long wait. Close the 45-minute mark of our wait, one of the kitchen staff came out of the kitchen, looking disheveled and distraught. She told the counter clerk, and the two of us, that part of the wait was due to the fact that âgrease had splattered into her eyeâ, and made her unable to remove her contact lens (she was afraid it had melted to her eye). When the woman looked at us, I said âthatâs probably a good reason to go to the ERâ. She agreed, but never left the premises (she was standing outside when we left). The situation was sad (we felt bad for the woman, who appeared to receive no instruction/guidance from her employer). The whole wait was bizarre. Our food was mediocre, no longer âhotâ, but still edible. We were VERY tempted to leave and find food elsewhere. Based on our experience and wait, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.

We had been here before AGES ago. I was NOT a huge fan back then. However, as time passed, I couldn't remember WHY I didn't like it. My husband said he thought it was good. So, one day when we were in town, we wanted a FAST meal without a lot of fuss. We figured this pizza shop in the mall would be a good option.Once at the mall, we placed our order at the counter. We ordered a medium cheese pizza and a kids hot dog meal. We also added an order of fries. Then we took a seat at one of the booth tables. We waited for what felt like forever for pizza and a hot dog! In reality it was 20 minutes, but for a pizza in a restaurant that is NOT that busy at 3pm in the afternoon...that is SLOW. Funny thing is that it took another 5 minutes to get the hot dog! Normally I would say that is not a big deal, but it is when it is the KIDS meal & they are hungry. Overall, I was NOT impressed with New York Pizza & Pasta. Their pizza is thin, but not real crispy. The edges are the crispy. The cheese tastes like fake cheese, not fresh mozzarella. Sauce is skimpy. Pizza was almost flavorless in my opinion. I added red pepper flakes and oregano to the pizza just to try to get some flavor. I would NOT recommend their pizza. Fries were frozen but were spiced up with some sort of seasoning or french fry spice that almost tasted like old bay. These FROZEN fries were tasty in comparison to the pizza. That's sad! My husband said the pizza was good. Our little kid did not have any complaints either. Our other child enjoyed her hot dog. Overall, I thought the pizza was GROSS. It was tasteless and didn't even have good texture. Staff was friendly, but service was a little on the slow side. Atmosphere is casual. Decor is like a blast from the past: orange tables, fake wooden booths, neon lights. Feels like it is straight out of an 80's movie. Price for our entire meal was $23. That is not a terrible price, but considering quality...I feel like I should have just eaten the paper that the money was printed on. It probably would have tasted better! Mental note to self: DO NOT allow family to convince you to dine here again in the future!! Bottom Line: SKIP it. There has to be better pizza in town.

No idea why anyone eouldvrate poor. Garlic Knots were huge and tasty. Medium Pizza was huge and amazing. Our server was timely and helpful. They have hired many foreign waiters and waitresses but that's all good- adds to the atmosphere. We will return next time we are in town.

There were several of us and the servers was great, sorry I don't remember her name. The wings were tastey, but some of the smallest wings I have ever seen, I guess chickens don't get very big around Gatlinburg. had 2 different types of Pizza and they were both good.

We decided to try this restaurant tonight and was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered chicken masala which was awful and I told the waitress and she try to make it right but at that point I wasn't hungry anymore. My better half ordered eggplant parmesan over spaghetti and claimed that he had much better and he would rate 2 to 3. He thought he would satisfy has hunger and asked for a cannoli thinking they would have that being that they're the best Italian well she the waitress said they don't sell or carry that dessert. There are so many places to eat in Gatlinburg but this one happened to be close to our hotel so we thought we would try it out. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We really enjoyed he pizza here. We ordered the Mama Mia smallest size on the menu and it was plenty for two of us with no leftovers. They had two regional breweries on tap including Highlands from Ashville. The waitress was great as well. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous! Everything! The owners, whom we were lucky enough to meet on our first visit, are just precious, smart, zesty, fun, seasoned entrepreneurs, that take great pride in what they do and it shows. All the dishes are made from scratch from the finest, freshest ingredients and you can surely taste it! We had the veal picatta and eggplant florentine, both of which were absolutely delicious! The best italian food we've ever had! The portions are hearty and the prices are very reasonable. Our server, Whitney, was a doll! We can't wait to go back! Highly recommended.GRAZIE, GRAZIE, What else can I say? Thank you, thank you, for all the wonderful kind words and great compliments about our restaurant, our food and our great server Whitney. I will be sure to let her know that you complimented her. It was nice to meet you and your wife, Heidi and we look forward to seeing you both again soon.
