"Il vero viaggio di scoperta non consiste nel cercare nuove terre, ma nell'avere nuovi occhi". Ã da questa intima convinzione che nasce Osteria del Castagno, rifugio del viandante e focolare del commensale, ristoro del corpo e armonia del palato. Immersa
This restaurant is perhaps one of the best Iâve ever enjoyed. The dining room in this centuries old villa is beautiful with antique furnishings. The tables are adorned with chargers and crystal stemware and fresh flowers. The menu is very creative offering stuffed asparagus, Liver pate, and quails egg beef tartare.I had the Liver pate which came in a large turrine and was enough for 3 people to share. Naturally, I ate every bit of it. Superb. For an entree I had the Wild Boar which was delicious. They have an excellent wine list starting from 18 euros. This was such a lovely experience that we are going again in 2 days, before we leave Tuscany.

Luckily I had read the reviews about this place being next to the gas station, and spotted it while leaving Gambassi terme. Had a great fried fish platter and some good wine. Too windy to sit out, but good view from terrace.

Boscotondo was recomended for their Florentine steak which is apparently raised on a farm nearby. We were not dissapointed. The waiter also recommended a very good Brunello di Montalcino to accompany it. Sorry I didn't take photos. You have to go and experience it yourself. We returned a few days later for pizza from the wood fired oven which was also exceptional and reasonably priced. This is a popular place for locals and their families and much of the ingredients seem to be locally sourced. The waiters and cooks were very friendly and happy to help as we worked our way through the menus. Luckily their English was far better than our Italian.

Due to a public holiday all restaurants were packed. We were a group of eight. They opened an extra room for us so that we could have dinner. Good quality food and friendly service. They warned us that service was going to be slow due to the holiday, but it was no issue for us.

This is one of the most remarkable Pizza places in Tuscany , very well known by the locals but not known by the foreigners visiting Tuscany. Would be worthwhile to included it on Tripadvisor.
Were recommended to go here by some fellow travelers... we were not disappointed. Great range of pizzas, cooked beautifully... attentive professional staff, lovely relaxed somewhat "upscale" atmosphere...we thoroughly enjoyed it, and would return in a heartbeat. Recommend reservations on busy nights!

We are a small restaurant in the historic center of Gambassi Terme, a small village in the elegant heart of Tuscany. We are one team of young friends and professionals who have taken the desire to bring a breath of novelty. With all humility of newcomers
We spent a week in Gambassi Terme and because of a very pleasant experience on our first visit to Beltempo we returned each day. Menu is fabulous with good authentic Italian dishes but itâs also nice to sit outside on the restaurants patio area with a glass of wine or beer enjoying the ambience of the piazza.Thank youuuuu !!!

The restaurant itself is a little odd but we chose to sit outside around the back of the restaurant. The garden is beautiful with flowers and a canopy and we have a beautiful view of the setting sun. The staff were all very pleasant. Unfortunateky the food was rather odd. Odd combinations of pastries and sauces with overly elaborate garnishes. I think it was mostly reheated and it lacked much flavour. I asked for gluten free options (using language cards to make sure I was totally understood) and was recommended the asparagus gratin. This turned out to be asparagus topped with melted cheese. Not a very nice meal but lovely place to go and sit with drinks.

In the heart of Chianti, in a warm and informal environment, our Chef proposes a Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine, with the use of vegetables at Km 0. Enotecaof over 250 square meters where we have about 1.000 references of wines from Italy with over 500
We stayed one night in the area and chose to go to this spectacular place and we are so glad that we did! The service was absolutely tremendous and the pasta was one of the best I have ever tasted. Fantastic local wine and cannot wait to return! We wish we were staying longer so we could go again. Highly recommended for excellent food, wine and service!
