A real disappointment, after reading the positive reviews. We ordered a vegetable specialty pizza. It appeared that, during cooking, the water in the vegetables had soaked into the crust. By the time we got it back to our hotel, it was a soggy mess. Almost inedible.
When I called to order a stromboli for pick-up, the girl couldn't have been more uninterested. Where's the smile in her voice? I felt like I was bothering her. The stromboli was just ok...not great. The bread was very un-Stromboli like. With so many pizza places in the area, and sometimes only customer service separating the many restaurants, why would they choose to hire someone so bad at customer service. My guess is it's a family member as no one that cold and distant could possibly get hired in an interview. First, and last, visit. There are too many other options. No wonder the place was empty at lunchtime.

While in AC for business, we were looking for something a little different and away from the casino traps. We jumped in the car and drove west on Rt 30. About 10 minutes out of town we saw this nice looking place and decided to give it a try. There were quite a few cars in the lot so we were surprised to see so few people in the restaurant. The dining room was beautifully decorated for the holidays... pretty wreaths on the walls and flowers on the tables, and just enough white lights to make it warm and inviting. As expected given the name, the menu features Italian specialties but not your standard spaghetti and meatballs. My husband selected Osso Bucco while I opted for a chef special Veal with artichoke, asparagus and cherry tomato in a sherry cream sauce. A bottle of Valpolicella was the perfect choice. Dinners were served with a choice of soup or salad and the warm crusty bread came with seasoned dipping oil. Dinners were delicious! Hubby raved about the fall-from-the-bone doneness of his pork and the rissotto that was served with it. My veal was also perfectly cooked and the asparagus was cooked through but still crisp. The sauce might have benefited from a little salt but that was easily corrected at the table. Our waiter Gabriel was attentive without hovering. We both decided to save room when we saw the dessert tray being presented to another table (when was the last time you saw a good dessert tray?). We tried to share the triple chocolate cake but it was so rich... and so yummy... that we would up taking it back to the hotel.Thank you!

My daughter and I were staying at the Marriott SeaView Villas for a couple days. One night for dinner we decided to get take out delivered instead of going out. The front desk gave us a few options and we decided on Costelloâs. The spaghetti and meatball dish I had was fantastic. One of the best Iâve ever had. The sauce was amazing. My daughter had ravioli which she loved. I had ordered some buffalo wings as an appetizer and while these were good - it did not compare to the level of the Italian dishes. They included small salads with the meals and also several garlic knots. The deliveryman arrived around the time they had estimated (40 minutes). He was efficient and very pleasant to deal with. They are familiar with the Marriott setup , so they know to ask which building and to call when they arrive since the hallways to the rooms are always locked.

We live in the area and have been to this restaurant many times over the years. Always came out and said we would never go back..just bad. Well, we did give it one more try and what a difference. Service was great and food was good. My Chicken Francaise was one of the better that I've had and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Linguine with clam sauce. What a big change! Hope it remains at this level so we can enjoy return visits.Thank you Denise for your wonderful review!! It was our utmost pleasure to serve you and we look forward to seeing you again soon. We do have new Managment and Chefs in place so you can enjoy our continued success. Look for our new menu coming soon.

Pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, comfortably slow on a Monday night though reservations recommended. Highly rated by the Marriott Fairway Villas concierge. The website could use some updating with regard to pricing, but it was about what we expected. We had two fish dishes, and the Calamari appy which was very good. The highlighted Flounder Francese was a bit too fishy to be completely enjoyable, and the white wine, butter and lemon sauce tasted like olive oil was used instead of butter. My wife had the better dish which was the Sea Bass and that was excellent.

there is no way this place deserves a 4 star rating unless they have employees sending in reviews. service was mediocre at best, only 5 tables filled and dishes were very slow coming out. in addition, one was cool and one was terrible. seafood fra diavolo with 3 very small scallops and 2 shrimp wasn't bad enough, small amount of pasta and the worst, watery tasteless (not red, not white) sauce we have ever had in an "italian" restaurant. way over rated. definitely never going back there. the only positive note was the waitress was very pleasant.Steve, I apologize about your most recent experience here at Romanelli's Garden Cafe. I would first like at to state that we do everything in our power to ensure you have a great experience, I will most certainly speak with the managers that were working that night and I hope they were able to correct some of your experience before you left. I would hope that if speaking to a manager could change your mind about giving a second chance. We hope you could. Thank you for your constructive criticism.Thank you, Drew
