Visited this restaurant tonight. The result was unexpectedly poor. Our company of six persons decided to celebrate the successful end of an exhibition in this restaurant. This is a quiet place with not many people. The cuisine was satisfactory, and the vine was good. The strange thing was the absence of the menu, the owner offers you all the dishes orally, and you have to ask especially about the price of each. After the dinner I tried to pay with my visa card, the owner accepted it but said that he was going to use the old style payment with a slip. For some reason, it took the bank more time for the wire transfer than the owner expected, and he got really mad. He shouted that I was an idiot, trying to fool him, but he would not let me do so. Being overwhelmed with emotions he tore his copy of the slip to pieces (I do not understand the reason) and tried to charge my card again. This time my bank blocked the second transaction and the card, being afraid of fraud. The owner called for the police. By the time the police came, he found out that my money from the first transaction reached its final destination and he could see that, but he could not get this without his copy of the slip. He wanted me to give him my card again to make another slip, instead he one he tore. Obviously, I refused, since the gentleman has just tried to double charge me and his manner was not making me willing to cooperate. The owner shouted that he knew people in my city and they would make me pay significantly more. Since I had my slip, confirmation from my bank that the transaction was successful, I gave the owner my coordinates, in case he wanted to go to court, wished good night and went home. As a result: food is good, the vine is good, the place is quiet but you must be prepared that in case of any non-standard situation, which can happen because of any reason beyond your control, you will face a very emotional and offensive reaction. In my case, the evening was ruined, though I did nothing wrong.

Super restaurant. Food was lovely and super nice. I can only recommend this place Food came quick and the servers were very gentle. I will eat there, as soon as Iâll be back in Frankfurt.

After all the favorable reviews and the proximity to where I stayed, we just had to try this restaurant.We sat in the outside area which reminded of a traditional "Kneipe" which are found all over Sachsenhausen and Bornheim.Our appetizers of Octopus Salad and Crispy Calamari Salad were good, the entrees were not that memorable. My pork was overdone and dry.Service was acceptable.Parking was absolutely atrocious. It took a very long time of circling until we finally found a place to park.Dear exsea, thank you for your review. Unfortunately Seckbach is known for the parking Problem. Our Restaurant used to be a traditional german "Kneipe" and it is a protected house from the City of Frankfurt am Main. This is why it still recalls the tradition. I am sorry for the pork meet. normally as meet quality it is a little bit dry but i would be more than happy if you show again in our restaurant and have a taste of another piece of meet (of course on the house).Thank you.

Informal and busy place offering a wide selection of pizza and pasta. Pros: Fast and efficient service, open until late night (rare attribute for a restaurant in Frankfurt), wide selection of pizza and pasta, possibility to take away. Cons: pizza too salty compared to the best Italian pizza, place is very basic in terms pf comfort/accomodation.

We were fortunate to have our only day in Frankfurt be a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We decided to walk along the river then through the historic district. There were many outdoor cafes and restaurants as is typical in Europe so we decided around 4:30 to stop for a bite to eat since we had not eaten since late morning. We initially stopped at a German cafe which was very crowded. We sat for about 10 minutes without being waited on so decided to leave and try the Ristorante Sardegna. Since it was not very busy we sat outside and were waited on immediately. Three of us split a pizza and had house salads and wine. The pizza was excellent and the service was great. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Frankfurt go here.

This is a attractively decorated and friendly Italian restaurant. The menu is as it is in all Italian restaurants though the menu is limited (with the advantage that service was quick). Food itself was fine but nothing special. Overall a nice place if you fancy Italian food.

Penne tonno da best. My boyfriend and I looked up this restaurant because he was tempted with âtagliattaâ, and I ordered penne tonno ( penne with fish and tomato sauce). He was a bit dissatisfied with tagliatta not because it isnât wonderful but himself is really picky himself with food but for me is good the meat is succulent and it tastes amazing (if you love rosemary, you absolutely gonna love this dishes). And the penne tonno, is so wonderful, thisâs the best pasta with fish that Iâve ever had. Normally, when I got tuna pasta whether the sauce is plain or barely can see the fish, but this one is amazing..Surely gonna come back to here.

Trattoria i Siciliani requires patience but it is worth the wait. A very busy small trattoria with a real buzz. The staff know their business. There is an excellent wine list and the food offering covers all tastes and is efficiently constructed.
