We have been in this "Il Brigantino" in Francavilla ( near Pescara, Abruzzo) and we must say it was delicious, great atmosphere, good price and good selection of wine.We first had a typical "aperitivo" of raw fish ( fresh and delicious, typical fish from the adriatic) and then we sat in a very confortable and cozy enviroment to eat fantastic pasta with prawns, appetizer of raw fish and oven-baked fish. We drunk a splendid white wine . All for a very decent price , considering the quality of the food. We have been served with attention and kindness (also with patience, given the fact we do not speak italian). To try!

Iâve visited the region for a number of years and love the food but to be honest many of the restaurants have very similar menus. How refreshing it was to visit a restaurant that is creative, putting a more modern twist on traditional food. It was delicious, well presented and I canât wait to go back. Easy to find just off the autostrade, I would highly recommend a visit. And the background music was excellent! I really enjoy the pizza at Albatros both to take away and to eat at the restaurant. Highly recommended for family since the place outside is very comfortable, even though not too large and on the road. Excellent service: you wait no longer than 5 minutes after ordering. The best pizza in Francavilla!

This restaurant look like very nice and elegant, but about meal there is not posible speak.If you wanna take your girlfriend in some nice elegant place with view, maybe its ok. They bring you 3kind of breads,making theatre that one is from sepia one is from curry etc...but its not posible eat..some raw fish starter was ok, pasta was no good, iam specialist for italian cusine, and this was really sad. Cheff put everywhere something sweet, like in every course you feel taste of sweet. They try to make some new experience but its not good with italian cusine. Even panacotta like a desert was very bad. How iam telling elegant place but not for eat well like in other places in Pescara ( abruzzo ) .

Great ingredients well prepared for a great dining experience. Very good service and excellent value for money.The new location is brand new, spacious and comfy.The menu is the traditional seafood cuisine from Abruzzo, with a great selection of "antipasti" and the usual primi piatti (pasta dishes). Do not let the name "appetizer" fool you: this is what you want to try!!! A sample of different delicacies.We tried also the "crudi" (raw appetizers): shrimp, fish tartare, oysters and so on. Very fresh and high quality.The only room for improvement could be in the wine list that is rather limited. Besides, there are bottles for all pockets, starting from the very decent house-wine to good bottles at very good prices.Will surely be back for more! Ciao Barone Rosso

Best pizza in the area, service is fast, very good value for money. I advice also to try Rosticceria il Ghiottone, next door to the Pizzeria. The meat dishes very nice, and they do very nice arrosticini.Only downside, both Pizzeria and Rosticceria can get very busy during summer time.

The food was not bad. Mixed reviews from the four dinersGood but not great. The beans were outstanding. The stuffed zucchini flowers were good but dripping of fried oil.. two of the diners had the lamb. So so. Generous portions.Pasta was tasty. I ordered the carbonara which had lots of fatty pancetta. Would of liked to be offered cheese to cut the fat but inevitable I ate it all anyways!!, coffee was terrible and severed in a plastic pixiecup , very unItalian.Many locals dine here and the host and hostess are an interesting duo. Very sporadic service. A couple that is doing this to survive but pephaps getting tired of the restauraunt business

Stefano has improved very much the Food Quality and choice of the Seafood Appetizers!We were 4 person and we just asked him to prepare for us an assortment of Seafood Appetizers and you can't imagine what we received...from cold...hot and rough...Salmon...Shrimps...Tuna...Scampi...Oysters...and i could keep going! The freshness of the products could be feel it in the taste...After more as 1 hour of eating Appetizers we ordered Pasta dishes...Linguine allo Scoglio...Spaghetti alle Vongole and Gnocchi Seafood...All of them delicious! We could't avoid to finish with a fabulous selection of Desserts with Cannoli...Panna Cotta...The wine was very good as well...Passerina white very well match with the Seafood. The Service was very good and attentive...Thank you Stefano for the 3 marvelous time!
