My family ate at Isabellaâs last weekend. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. We did call ahead, but there was not a wait. We each ordered a different dish from the large selections. The service was excellent. It is definitely medium price range. Nice for special occasions. There has been some amazing patio weather this past month and I'm glad you were able to enjoy it!

Service was slow but the fantastic food made up for it. We had Calzones and they were so cheesy and crust was thin and crunch. Never had them like that but it was excellent. You could make your own or choose from the specialty ones on the menu. Also the pizza was wonderful with thin crust in a rectangle shape vs the typical round shape. Lots of toppings, no skimping here. Loved the apps that thru the week they offer them for $5.00 which was a big draw for us. We had the loaded fries and cheese sticks. Loved both of them and recommend the cheese fries.
Love the crust. It's thin and lightly crispy. The pizza has the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and toppings. The service has always been great. This is my new favorite pizza!

Amazingly delicious Italian restaurant. I would LOVE to rate it. GREAT find in Lynchburg, Virginia. Thank you very much.
We were exhausted after traveling up from Charlotte area and visiting a few historical sites. We wanted comfort food. We have gone to Italy several times and did not know what to expect in Lynchburg VA, a rather smaller town for us.We were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and fast. We never had to wait on refills or special requests. The owner came over and chatted with us. He is from Italy and bragged about how his menu is authentic. While we found a few differences (mainly to using American ingredients), we were extremely happy with our meal. The pasta dish, Penne Caprice with GF pasta, was excellent. The pizza (regular dough, not GF) was really good according to my husband. We had a small salad and soft drink/tea (which were refilled promptly). The area (where we asked to be seated) seemed a bit noisy, but close to the door so we did not have to walk far. This seemed to be a family style area with lots of kids.We would eat there often if we lived in the area. For weary travelers, this was just the food we needed after a long day.
always happy with the quality and price here. Friendly staff, quick service and clean restaurant. We order out more often than eat in but like this good locally owned place.
We got the buffet for $8.99 adult in Thursday night from 5-8pm. There were breadsticks, fried ravioli spicy but good, fried mushrooms, chicken strips, lasagna, spaghetti meatballs, fettuccini alfredo, pizza, salad bar, and brownies.....much more im missing. Very good service and kept the salad bar clean and pizzas kept coming out til 8. Absolutely a great value and so very good. I'll be back!
Not a fan of their microwaved frozen food. They do cook potato chips in house, didn't care for them either. Pizza is much better at several places within 1/2 mile. Trio and Little Cucci's are much better taste.
Where to eat Diner food in Forest: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I researched and gave them a try. It was a good choice and they will now be my go to place for pizza. The crust was soft and foldable. Thin layer of tomato sauce. Thick mozzarella cheese. I added parmigiana cheese, mushrooms, and onions. I ordered online and it was ready in about ten minutes.
First the food was good, no complaints there. However, in order to cram more tables into the shop the table width is very narrow for the size plates they serve. For a family of four we were constantly juggling plates. The waitress ignored us for the most part, my water ran dry three times, and I almost resorted to putting the empty plates on the floor to make room for the ones with food. Overall the evening was not an enjoyable experience for my family. In addition, ditch the TV. You are not a sports bar. For a family dinner I donât want to watch the news I want to talk to those around me without being constantly distracted by a TV.
