My wife and I went to Lombardino's on a date. We enjoyed a bottle of wine outside on the deck of a small place directly across the street prior to dinner at Lombardino's. I had the spaghetti bolognese and my wife had a pork with white bean dish, special during a Dine Madison promotion which involved a 3 course dinner for $25. My pasta was $18, with a house salad, $4 extra. The waitress was extremely good. She was very professional as well as just plain nice. If I owned a place, I'd try to hire her away from Lombardino's. Yes. We will be back.

We wanted a lake view for dinner. When I drove up to the main entrance, I was sure that there could not be a lake view, since the entrance was surrounded by tall buildings. We walked behind our server through this cavernous restaurant. We sat outside on a balcony that was at least three stories above the lake. Fabulous views. Our Italian food was delicious. The Chianti was fairly priced. A memorable evening.

I stopped by to pick up the Lasagne; the small size serves 6. While I was at it, I got their Garlic Bread. A little over an hour before dinner I preheated oven and then baked the Lasagne according to the prominent instructions on the lid of the pan. For the last 15 minutes the Garlic Bread went in. When the timer went off we had a perfectly done and delicious meal.I cut the leftover Lasagne and froze as individual servings and they passed the test for being really tasty several days later.

Location is the best, atmosphere is excellent, fresh, modern, crisp. Service is excellent, the waitress that took care of us was better than expected. Most of the dishes we ordered were acceptable, nothing to write Mamma about. Pricing is above what you'd expect for the quality you are receiving. The gnocchi dish is atrocious, should not be on the menu if the "chef" does not know how to make it, (hint: it's not mushy mashed potato)

Our Amazon Deluxe Specialty pizza was delightful. Just the right amount of red sauce, not too much cheese, wonderful, crunchy crust and quality meats. The menu provides salads, calzones, flatbread options.There are small screens around the bar area that has high tables. One dining area has tables while the other has booths. There is also a outdoor patio. Selection of tap beers was good. Suggest an early arrival as you may experience wait time later. We will make Sugar River part of our dining options.

We came to Madison for the football game and weren't too familiar with the restaurants, so we ended up choosing one we had a coupon for. This was a wise choice. We all had wonderful dinners and the steak Diane was the best I have ever had. It literally melted in your mouth. We may have been a little underdressed, but that didn't seem to matter with our service. Thank you.

My 3rd time at Angelo's McFarland. Not only did I have wonderful service by Dan, I had Amazing food too-! I highly suggest the Cajun Shrimp & Sausage w Gluten-free pasta. Very cozy place & met so many friendly people there-! I will definitely be back-!
