Excellent Eggplant Rollatini appetizer, ( rolled around spinach covered with melted mozzarella). That could make a meal! Pizza is very good - surprised to see some of the negative reviews, but each to their own. We stay with either pepperoni, mushrooms or sausages. All very good - can't wait until spring to eat outside - great remodeling.

I came here because of Tripadvisor reviews. This was undeniably the best calzone I have had in many years. I seem to always be looking for a good calzone and I found it! Too bad I'm not in the area that much. Girl at the counter was very nice, the place was clean. Only problem I will have next time is if I want to try the pizza or get another calzone! Calzone with tax was less than $6 and I couldn't finish it!

You never know when you're going to stumble on a gem, and this restaurant is a real diamond. One of the best pizzas we've had in a long time. Generous servings of toppings, perfectly cooked crust, and delivered HOT! WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD ARRIVE! EXACTLY AS WE ORDERED!Rarely is a pizza too large for us to finish, but this one was. So, it gave us the chance to reheat it in a microwave the next night. Microwaves are an insult to pizzas, but this one stood up to the radiation and was just as tasty 24 hours later.Online ordering is seamless and intuitive, once you go through the registration process, but trust me... it's worth it!

Antonella's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Fishkill location is conveniently located in the Shoprite Plaza on Rt. 9 in Fishkill NY. We offer dine-in (table and counter service), take-out, delivery and catering (in-house and off-site).
Discovered Antonellaâs from our hotel recommendation and was very pleasantly surprised to find this authentic Italian restaurant that replicates the traditional meals I grew up with outside of Pittsburgh. The food, Stuffed Shells, was luscious, rich with buttery cheese and smothered in perfect marinara sauce. Our server Daniel was attentive and most accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable of the area to give great ideas on other places to visit in the area. After a long drive from Virginia to Fishkill, what a welcome surprise. Kudos and thanks for a pleasant evening

Everything (3 appetizers and 4 entrees) was absolutely delicious, portions generous. The waiter was pleasant and enthusiastic, quickly filled our drink order and assured us that our bread was being made fresh and "in the oven"! But service afterward wasn't so good. We didn't really mind his mistake on one entree, he replaced it fairly quickly, and we're all human. We had to request olive oil (for the no longer fresh or hot bread) a half dozen times - he finally brought it after the main course was served. Same for the grated cheese, requested 4 times, arrived well after the entree's (and replacement entree) arrived. The service always seems a bit off and rushed and the place really is way too loud a -- but it's worth it for the great food. We'll continue to visit somewhat regularly. I hope that the good folks there improve the service a tad and add some sound absorbtion because then the place would be perfect!

Friendly, cozy and welcoming - thatâs just for starters. Very good wine offerings and the daily specials are always a pleasant surprise. The bar addition is a welcomed improvement - great place to meet friends, loved by locals. The special scallops with bacon, peas and risotto was delicious, (and Iâm usually committed to the veal chop or osso bucco), very nice change. This is still our âgo toâ place for consistently great meals and service.

Sotano Food & Wine is a restaurant providing dine-in, carry out and catering services to the Fishkill, NY area. Languages: English, Spanish
Last evening, my wife and I made a wonderful new discovery in Fishkill, New York that added a very special touch to our anniversary celebration. Opened in June of this year, Sotano is situated in a charming building on Main Street, with ample parking in back. The décor in the dining room was clearly the result of careful consideration especially for the color coordination, and an intimate bar, expertly staffed by a delightful young lady with an amazing name â youâll have to ask her yourself! â provided the perfect spot to linger over our after dinner drinks.Chef Patricio, who is also the owner, made it a point to greet every one of his guests. He is a very approachable person. His culinary creations are exciting and are well matched with a carefully selected wine list, which includes an excellent Albarino. We started with the calamari, prepared with a chickpea-infused coating. The flavor coming from the chickpeas was subtle and perfectly balanced the calamari. The Albarino was a perfect match for this appetizer. For our main meal, my wife had steak, perfectly cooked to order. I selected the scallops with risotto and a superb lobster butter sauce. The sauce made the scallops come alive in my mouth which is a very rare treat indeed. Our servers, Dylan and Heaven (yes, that is her name!) were very professional but low key, keeping a watchful eye on the progress of our meal and the level of our wine glasses. Chef Patricio is planning some very interesting additions to the menu, and I would encourage you to engage him in conversation about these. You will not be disappointed having a meal at Sotano, and I strongly recommend reservations be made for the dinner period.

Service was very good. Food was good. Available in half and full portions. I do feel that there could be more menu options. Atmosphere is nice but not really intimate. Other party was a foot away from us and was listening to our conversations! I would likely try it again when in the area.

First visit. Food was excellent, wine was excellent, service was superb. We took Dan's recommendations and had no regrets. Specials were wonderful. I highly recommend it. Space is a bit tight, and room is loud. Nevertheless, it was not uncomfortable. In an area filled with wonderful restaurants, it is hard to choose a favorite, but we'll be back here again. Go early, however, unless you don't mind waiting. Bar is nice but it was packed when we left.
