We booked (almost essential) to have Sunday lunch. The â¬30 cost per head included 6 courses, Wine, Water and coffee. All courses were freshly prepared using local ingredients where possible. It all tasted fantastic. The staff ( most members of the owners family) were attentive and proactive. Even the ageing owner, on a crutch circulated and chatted with diners. Over all you cannot fault this place.

Quiet taverna, with stunning views high up on the side of the Majella. A family run business providing traditional food and wine from the region. Excellent value for money with good all around service. Dining is inside with ample room, simple with colourful decor. The venue also has a nice terrace during the warmer months for al fresco. Definitely worth a visit up to the taverna simply for the views if visiting Palombaro. Closed Mondays.

In the Majella National Park territory - in Lama dei Peligni - there is our small hotel with 4 rooms and 8 furnished flats (from 2 to 5 bed). They are full of comforts and it's possible to enjoy wonderful landscapes of the Majella Mountain and the Aventin
We got there quite late and the place was mostly empty, but had to wait almost one hour for 5 pizzas. They didn't bring anything in the mean time (antipasti, pane, ...) and they clearly had some issues with the service. Fortunately the pizzas were really good, and very inexpensive. They get four stars assuming the service problem was temporary ...

On June 6, 2018, our party of 5 adults ate at Agriturismo L'Alveare. Cosimo did an outstanding job treating us so kindly and to an exquisite dining experience with wine, many courses and a variety and an abundance of delicious foods and dessert! The presentation was also beautifully done. We truly had an outstanding, long-lasting and memorable experience!

If you like char-grilled steaks, you'll love it here as they're the house speciality. Massive (actually, *too* massive) antipasti selection. Good house wine. Friendly welcome. Exceptionally nice indoor surroundings. Comfortable. Tables not too close together. Massive carpark. But service can creak a bit when it's busy.
the highest level of restaurant art in beautiful Italy. Regional dishes with the touch of artistry of the chef.
Cordiali, buone birre, buono il menù che accompagna le birre.Ottimi gli abbinanenti ed i suggerimenti. Prezzi giusti per la buona qualità del servizio e della location.Consigliatissimo.

We had a wonderful meal here after traveling all day to reach the village of Fara San Martino. The staff was very helpful since we were so late in arriving. The two pasta dishes prepared for us were delicious and we enjoyed our after dinner drinks too. Grazie Mille from all seven of our traveling group. Molte grazie "and see you soon"

After a short trip to Italy eating in 6 different restaurants, this had without doubt the best pasta by some distance.I had the mushroom Ravioli with Truffle and the flavours were to die for. I'd have it again tomorrow. The restaurant itself is lovely and quaint, offering a wide range of wines & beers to buy from their stock.Complimentary spirits at the end were the icing on the cake.
