A beautiful Tuscan inspired building with a tranquil courtyard that transports you to Europe. We source our ingredients locally and bake our own bread to produce fresh healthy farm to table food with a Tuscan influence. Live music is featured every Friday
GREAT local owned restaurant! Wade and Ashley are wonderful!!!We have eaten here for dinner probably 5 times. Every meal has been wonderful!!! It's a small menu, but that way they can focus on each dish being delicious! Everything is FRESH and cooked to order. NOTHING is premade and frozen. They use local produce and meat. The desserts are made from scratch, so they vary each week. The Arancini appetizer is AMAZING!!My husband has had the Rack of Lamb every time, but one. It's obviously his favorite. He did try the special fish dish of the night, and he really liked it too.I've had the Chicken Marsala, Wild Mushroom Pasta, and the Pecan Arugula Salad. All of them are very tasty, but the Wild Mushroom is my favorite! We have had the chocolate cake, the peach cobbler, and the key lime tart. All very good. We have taken 3 different groups of friends to eat here. They all LOVED it, and want to go back. There is seating outside, in the main part of the restaurant, a little private room, and the wine bar. We have sat in all of them, except the wine bar. They also have live music in the alley some nights. This is our FAVORITE restaurant in Fairhope! There is only one thing I would change. The seating in the main part of the restaurant is a little too close. When customers get up, sometimes the chairs bump. We had 5 people at our table, and actually slid it over some, so the staff would stop bumping into it.

Really enjoyed our pizza experience.* Staff was extremely friend* Pizza quality was great* Nice outside seating* Half and half options were great. Could combine half with red sauce and half with white sauce.Appears to be locally owned. Overall a good experience.

Increasingly, wonderful restaurants can be found hiding in the corner on a non-descript downtown mall; such is the case with Rotolo's in Fairhope. Inside the door the atmosphere is fun in a just slightly campy kind of Italian restaurant way- pictures of the "Old Country" on the walls, and if memory serves, faux statuary here and there in the spacious lobby. Enticing aromas of tomato, garlic,, oregano and basil. We were doing take out, and service was rapid- the person at the counter called out our phoned-in order to the kitchen, and the boxes appeared almost instantly. She opened the boxes and showed them to us to double check that they contained what we ordered. Having had plenty of experience with finding the wrong toppings once I got a pizza home, I appreciated this attentiveness. And a wonderful pizza it was. The crust was New York style- crisp on the bottom and chewy in the middle. The sauce was tangy and tasty, and my bet is it is home made, since Rotolo's is also a full-menu Italian restaurant. Enough cheese to be nice and gooey, but so much as to be overly heavy. Generous, fresh tasting toppings.I know they also offer full dinner menu- pastas, cacciatores, pamesanas, etc. Next time I am in Fairhope (once or twice a year), I may well try them for dinner.

We ordered the "monster" calzone and the large antipasto salad. Both delivered great disappointment. The toppings were scarce on both. The calzone had large portions of bread that didn't contain toppings at all. The bottom of it was soggy. The salad was very small and shouldn't be labeled large. There was a side of marinara sauce that tasted good, but has the consistency of dirty water. The staff was very friendly, but that doesn't make the food good.

Located in Fairhope Alabama since 2002, The Ravenite Pizzeria is a family owned and operated New York style pizzeria. Our pizzas are hand tossed with dough that is made fresh daily along with homemade sauces and blended cheeses. Also on the menu are appet
This was our first visit to Ravenite and I would agree with several of the reviews that the service was really good. We found a table and when seated our waiter arrived at our tables quickly with menus and took our drink orders. The draft beer was really cold as it should be the wine list is very limited. We started with the fried mushroom appetizer and they were well cooked and very flavorful. Unfortunately they turned out to be the hit of the evening. We ordered the large Special Pizza (meat lover) which turned out to be a large disappointment. The biggest problem was the center of the pizza was soft and doughy. Undercooked for sure. Also they were very sparse with the toppings as mentioned by others. Friendly wait staff, great location, their pizza needs work. A pizza joint needs to make great pizza.

Everything looked good on the menu so it was very difficult to decide but the veal piccata was amazing. The bread was light and the salad was much better than other "Italian" restaurants ;-) The best part was our server, Tammy, she was very attentive and personable. I feel it took the whole experience to the next level.Allison,Great to know that you enjoyed yourself and that Tammy took great care of you. See ya soon! God Bless, The Gambino Family
