More than just your average Pizza joint, Bella's takes pride in using only fresh ingredients in the preparation of our menu. While our prices are great, the quality of the food is unbeatable, with each item bursting with rich flavors! Nothing is more impo
From the street, Bella's doesn't look too enticing. Don't be fooled, though, they have some of the best deep dish pizza anywhere. The crust is "short", tender and flakey. The spinach and cheese is our favorite. Their thin crust is good as well. The sandwiches, salads and entrees are very much a cut above the usual carry out food. Good neighborhood take out.
If you have a taste for Chicago Style pizza, Angie's is the place to go. Angie's is a great example of why pizza all around the world is referred to as "Chicago Style Pizza." Walking into Angie's you can feel the comfortable and friendly atmosphere that c
Pizza is good. Nothing to write home about. If I was in the neighborhood I would stop but would not go out of my way to stop and order. Parking is difficult. Place an order for delivery.

Came in to Beverly area of Chicago to see a play at the Beverly Arts center. Chicago has an absolute wealth of neighborhood Italian restaurants and this is on par with the best. My wife loved her chicken piccata dish, our friends loved their stuffed ravioli and sea food and shrimp linguini. He said that the shrimp linguini was as good or even better than his previous "best ever" at Tuscany on Taylor Street. The only slight disappointment we had was my slightly under cooked manicotti. While it was fine, it was nowhere near some of the better manicotti dishes I have had in Chicago. We had excellent service and believed the pricing to be fair for the quality of the meals..

Buona is a quick casual restaurant chain that features Original Italian Beef, Pizza, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sandwiches and Salads.
Best known for Italian beef and Chicago-style hot dogs, Buona Beef does have some other things on the menu, but the Italian beef definitely keeps them at the top of their game. One of about 20 stores, this Buona Beef in the Mt. Greenwood neighborhood has plenty of parking and offers outdoor dining. The staff is friendly and very efficient. The prices are very reasonable. We stopped at Buona Beef partly because we were in the neighborhood and partly because I had an e-mail on my phone with a birthday promotion. We ordered a regular beef with both types of peppers and dipped, as well as a kids meal beef sandwich. Delicious!

Since my wife and I recently discovered the Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage fast-food restaurant chain in the south suburbs--it was founded in 1980 so what took us so long?--we have sampled a couple of locations with relatives and friends and cheerfully await the grand opening of a new location on West North Avenue between La Salle Street and Wells Street, only two blocks from our downtown condominium. Pop's has 14 locations in the south suburbs, two in northwest Indiana and one at 10337 South Kedzie in Chicago. Friends in nearby Evergreen Park heartily endorse the Kedzie location but would add a fifth star if it offered indoor dining rather than primarily counter-service, a few stools and a couple of outdoor tables. We'd love to see indoor dining at the new Old Town location but who's complaining? The food is hot, fresh and delicious, a variety of fast-food choices you can't get very much of in downtown Chicago. My wife and I rave about the Italian beef sandwiches, the Chicago-style hot dogs, the chili dogs, the jumbo shrimp basket, the BBQ grilled chicken sandwich, the fries and the many flavors of milk shakes. Imagine, a place like Pop's within walking distance of our condominium.

It was great. The waitress was very helpful. Especially since I forgot a cake. She gave me choices which my nieces (all 3of them) had an,input on. Bella wanted vanilla ice cream which the waitress was kind and put a,candle on it. And the rest of us had a,slice of a delicious chocolate, cake.

Famous Chicago-style deep dish pizza right in your neighborhood. Visit us for a family-friendly atmosphere and delicious food or order your meal online for pickup or delivery.
We ordered two deep dish (of course) pizzas. "It was cheesy goodness," said my daughter. "It was a really delicious pizza," said my son. "It was AWESOME!!!!" my daughter added. Word of advice... I called to ask what size they would recommend for three children. They suggested medium. Small would have been plenty. To level-set, my wife and I ordered a small (request that they leave it uncut, so it stays intact on the ride home) cut it into six pieces, and we ate one piece each. Bear in mind, I'm not complaining; just setting expectations.

For outstanding Italian cuisine, look no further than Palermo's 95th. This family run, award winning restaurant specializes in authentic veal, steak, pasta, and fresh seafood creations for lunch and dinner. Established in 1961 by Ben and Nina Calderone, t
Was there with family for dinner. Service was slow. I ordered the eggplant on texas toast and what I got was a toasted french like split roll with one or two slices of cheese with marinara sauce and two small slices of eggplant. I wound up cutting the excess bread away and had a 3x3 inch 'meal'. The cole slaw was also pretty bad.

My husband and I read about Vito and Nick's on several foodie websites, so we placed it on our Chicago itinerary for a recent long weekend trip. We were so excited! Since the train did not come close to Vito and Nick's we opted to pay around $40 ($20 each way) for an Uber from the River North area down to Vito and Nick's neighborhood. Once we got there, we sat down and ordered. As we looked around, we realized that no one else in the restaurant had any food on their tables. The bartender (a very loud man who appeared to be in management) complained about the servers and/or hostess calling in sick...for the entire 1.5 hours that we were there. Once we got our food, it was not worth eating...and I LOVE pizza...especially super thin crust! The pictures I saw online drew me in, but the taste left me so disappointed. I didn't even eat my half of the pizza, and that says a lot because I will eat almost any pizza. Don't make the same tourist mistake we did by reading great things online about this place. It's either lost its edge or someone out there is spreading lies on the Internet!I've traveled across 4 continents and eaten at (and reviewed!) a ton of restaurants, hotels, and things to do. I would love to continue to share my knowledge about restaurants, things to do, and hotels with you as I travel to new places. Be sure to follow me on Trip Advisor to get my latest updates! Best thin crust pizza around. The sauce is sweet but not over the top. Great atmosphere with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our family comes every Friday for our weekly pizza because it is so delicious and affordable. Do not have any complaints about Rosangela's!
