We finished visiting the Buda castle area and we walked down the hill and started looking for a good restaurant. We found the Riso but we had to walk back up the hill but honestly it was worth it. The restaurant was busy so if you want to eat in the terrace I would recommend getting a reservation. Friendly staff and lots on the menu to choose from. My wife had the fried goat cheese salad which also had walnuts in it- very tasty. I had the veal rice dish with cabbage salad. This was the best dining experience I've ever encountered. The food was amazing. Seafood pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection giving it the perfect texture. The three pasta in 3 sauces dish was our favorite. Especially the truffle cream one. The tiramisu was phenomenal. Our favorite was the service. Every single person was so attentive and friendly. All the complimentary items we were given were also delicious. I loved this place. I cannot praise it enough.

Staying in the Holiday Inn Budaors and decided to eat locally rather than the hotel.Checked Trip Advisor and Restaurant Aromi had good reviews and was only .6km away.First impressions was great, a lovely looking restaurant in a picturesque little town. Got parking at the door. As we entered it looked busy.We were greeted and seated promptly by friendly staff. The menu had a great variety of options. I had bruschetta for starter and it was first class followed by duck breast in orange sauce with rice which was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. My wife had a chicken dish which she enjoyed and my daughter had salmon with grilled vegetables and again she loved her dish.They had some nice wine by the glass alas as the driver I had to make do with bottled water.Then for dessert we had tiramisu and it was just superb followed by lovely strong Americano coffee. The dining room is cosy and comfortable and the serving staff are great. This is probably the best family restaurant I have visited anywhere in our travels and it cost just over 21,000Ft about â¬73

Came here with a bunch of friends to have a bite and some beers. Turned out that we had so much to eat that we had no more place for those beers.The portions are like in a traditional countryside restaurant in Hungary: huge. There is a wide selection of dishes but it's the best for meat lovers although there were vegetarian options. Its location might not be the best but it's worth that little detour if you want to eat something nice for a reasonably low price.The place could use a little revamp and the foil tent outside was just way too hot to sit inside it. Apart from this we had a good experience and we'll be back if we're around once again

The pizza is bad - thick bread-y crust, tasteless toppings. If fact there are very few toppings. It takes ages for delivery. I would not consider them at all worthy of even ordering.

I visited the diosd and there i had dinner with friends. It was really delicious food,friendly staff,warm environment. I will visit again this restaurant. Also i preferre to the others who like italian food.

This place has been transforming the last few years (it's been Oliva Pizzeria, then Halászcafé) but somehow they kept the same quality; maybe the chefs are the same. The business is not run by an italian and the pizza is not real italian pizza, but after plenty of "hungarian" and "american" pizzas it's always a nice change to go here and find a good one. The service is average (the staff is clearly underpaid and unmotivated) but they're friendly in a neutral way, and the service is fast. The place isn't luxury quality but the huge wooden tables look nice. I recommend the place either for sitting in or ordering by phone.

Good quality, excellent service, affordable prices. Perfect for a quick business lunch or a family dinner, also you can watch sport events on a few screens. Short but full menu, good choice of vines and spirits. The daily menu for HUF1090 is very good value for money.The staff is extremly friendly and treats the place as its own.Highly recommended.

It was the second time we went to this small restaurant with my wife for a dinner as a sudden idea. Their beef consommé with lots of vegetables, noodles and with toast horseradish sauce is great. Nothing more to wish for a cold winter evening. The place was full, but they managed to serve all guests quickly and professionally.
