Das Ambiente von auÃen und innen ist unscheinbar, aber der freundliche Service und das äuÃerst leckere Essen bewirken trotzdem eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung!Die Räumlichkeiten sind nicht besonders modern, stylisch oder ausgefallen und lassen sich am besten beschreiben mit "altes Sportlerheim". AuÃen gibt es auch einen Terrassenbereich. Es fehlt leider ein Wickeltisch.Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, Sonderwünsche waren überhaupt kein Problem.Das Restaurant bietet überraschend leckere deutsche und italienische Küche, bei uns waren alle zufrieden (Pizza, Rumpsteak, Lamm-Karree, Salat, Fisch,...).Für ein schickes Dinner nicht ganz geeignet, aber zum gemütlichen, ungezwungenen Lecker-Essen hervorragend!

Hier waren wir schon öfters, mit und ohne unsere Kinder, und wir waren immer zufrieden. Für kleines Geld "zaubern" Maria und ihr Mann sehr wohlschmeckende, gut belegte Pizzen und jegliche Pasta mit sehr guten SoÃen auf den Tisch. Und für Pferdeliebhaber und Reitsportbegeisterte ergibt sich dabei oft eine tolle Zuschauerrolle über eine Panorama-Fesnsterscheibe auf die etwas tiefer liegende Reithalle des benachbarten Gestütes...

We did not expect to get such excellent food in sport hall. The variety is big and all dishes wonderful: German goose, Pulpa, calamari and of course pasta (perfectly al dente). Next to Italian wines theyâre even offering Riesling!!! The service is okay and the location is alright but this all doesnât matter because of the excellent food. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

Excellent Italian food by a rotund, delightful, interesting Italian host. You receive a welcome only a true Italian can give you, with Ciao bello and do you want a Grappa? Hi end Italian fare at very reasonable prices. Outstanding Italian wines including DOC and DOCG's.

This used to be a pleasant restaurant offering simple and delicious German cuisine, in a rustic garden setting. It has unfortunately - as I discovered yesterday evening - been turned into an Italian eatery offering (almost entirely) Italian dishes. The rustic setting has been spoiled by laying concrete pavers and attempts to create an Italian atmosphere - as dusk descended we had trouble seeing what we were eating. It appears to be oversubscribed, as we discovered when we had a long wait to get a table. Why do Germans go for Italian cuisine when they have such a good native cuisine? We then had a long wait before we could place an order - the service was at best sluggish. The food was rather ordinary, nothing one couldn't knock up at home. A real disappointment!

Although the city seems a bit empty, when you go into this place you will know where they have been hiding. Great little Italian restaurant. I had the Salmon and it was plentiful and yummy. The dinner with wine for 4 was just over 100 Euro making this place a GREAT value.

Il Mondo has excellent service and a very friendly staff. The atmosphere is great and most importantly, the food is amazing. I had the beef tartar to start and then the Pizza Mama Mia which is spicy just as advertised. But if youâre a little bit crazy and need it to be spicier, they will be happy to take care of you.
