Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Elk Grove Village. Elk Grove Village is a village located in northeastern Illinois adjacent to O'Hare International Airport and is a near northwest suburb, touching the city of Chicago. It is one of the Chicago metropolitan area's principal villages due to its large industrial park, located on the eastern border of the village. The village is located primarily in Cook County with a small portion in DuPage County. The population was 33,127 at the 2010 census. As the name suggests, Elk Grove Village is home to a small herd of elk kept in a grove at the eastern edge of the Busse Woods forest preserve for which the grove is named. Elk are not native to the area but were brought by train from Montana by an early resident, William Busse, in the 1920s. The elk are currently maintained by the Chicago Zoological Society veterinary staff and the Busse Woods Forest Preserve wildlife biologists.

Family owned and operated. CHICAGO PRIME ITALIAN is the only authentic italian eatery in an ocean of chain restaurants. We feature a seasonal patio, full service lounge, fresh pasta/seafood & organic produce. Closed at lunch to accommodate private events
The on-site owner keeps this restaurant running smoothly as he looks after the details. We especially enjoyed the ambiance. Although the chicken in the Fettuccine Alfredo wasn't tasty, the Shrimp de Jonghe, however, was notably good.

This was my second time coming to Morettiâs and again they did not disappoint. Their food is phenomenal. From their Chicken Alfredo, to Pizza, to Parmesan Crusted Chicken. It is all amazing. Just rich flavors that melt in your mouth, and make you wana stuff your face until you canât no more. Plus they had Corona on tap! Iâm a huge fan of Corona, but never have I ever found it on tap before so I was super stoked about that. Love the staff, love the environment, LOVE the food! Great place and highly recommend!!
Had a Quattro Stagioni wood fire pizza and Mela salad and both very very good. I want to return and try their regular pizza which looked just as good. You order up front and they bring your order to your table. They offer wine and beer.

Nice little Italian restaurant. The best thin crust pizza. Excellent baked clams. Good, homemade pasta (at least the ravioli), and meatballs. Good service and nice atmosphere. Tuesday nights are 1/2 price pizza and 1/2 price bottles of wine (select from three or four offered at that price).

Where do I start when talking about Marino's?! Their Chop Salad- Fresh, tasteful and fulfilling. Their pizza's DELICIOUS! But their rigatoni and sausage... Fo-get-about-it!It is simply the best I've ever had! Their house made dressing is also very good. You wont be disappointed with anything they offer! They do have gluten free options as well! Don't be fooled with impersonators - this is authentic ITALIAN! BADDA BING BADDA BANG!

We were here last year and it was much better. The waitresses seemed frazzled and one did nothing but complain the entire time we were there. The lasagna was cold in the center and while we would have sent it back we saw our waitress to order and then by the time we saw her again we were done. The clam chowder was good.

We went during Happy Hour; got seated quickly - but when we left; the wine bar outside was packed and the line was nearly out the door to sit.People seem to go there for the wide selection of wine. With Happy Hour, we got the house wine - which was good, but not great - yet better than the house wine at most places. They have a good selection of appetizers; as a big party - we tried several - a nice bruschetta, hummus with carrots and cauliflower inside, carne asada flatbread. There were several other choices such as mexican egg rolls, crispy brussels sprouts, goat cheese flatbread - a decent variety beyond - maybe a dozen choices. The place is big; ceiling is easily 16' up - and can be noisy as it is a wide open atmosphere. For us, service was pleasant, fast, all questions answered - water refilled regularly, drink orders taken quickly - yet realize we "beat the crowd".Dinners ran a huge variety and were above average in size - can get meat, fish, vegetarian, chicken - all generally mixed with vegetables and some sort of sauce. Food was filling and tasty.

I have never had authentic Chicago deep dish pizza before so I asked around and several people told me this was the best place to go. The pizza was delicious! This restaurant was very loud so I wouldnât recommend it for an intimate date night or business dinner. There is a carry out restaurant if you donât have time to wait and there is also frozen pizza for sale. When you order just know that it takes at least 30 minutes for them to bake your pizza so order an appetizer and just be patient.

Love this place! The food is fabulous, the ambiance is pleasant and weâve never had anything less than excellent service. The eggplant parmigiana, served on a bed of vermicelli, melts in your mouth. Momma's lasagna is much better than my momma's pasta. The Taylor Street Baked Ziti is true Chicago Italian. The portions are huge and the fresh bread is refilled if you want. If you order one of the classic or speciality pastas you get a free pasta to take home (they freeze well). Maggiano's prices are an exceptional value, especially for a white tablecloth, full service restaurant. Want to avoid the crowd and parking crunch, go for a late lunch or early dinner.
