Once again, my husband and I had an amazing dinner. We called two nights before and got a reservation (lucky us!). I had the seafood risotto and my husband had the shrimp scampi. Mine was one of the best meals I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, beautifully served...just delicious. We had the carrot cake for dessert and it may have been one of the best carrot cake's I've had! This little gem is our absolute favorite and so happy it's close!

Waterfront drinks and dining on the banks of the Sheepscot River in Wiscasset.
We decided to try the Water Street Kitchen based on prior reviews and it did not disappoint. The roasted cauliflower appetizer with aioli was excellent. I had the spaghetti with marinara and my brother had the Bolognese And both were excellent. The snap pea salad was a excellent as well. Two members of our party had the bean soup and recommended that also. Our server, Rachel, was wonderful. We will return and we all would recommend this eatery. Dinner for 5 with drinks was $200.

Even though we didnât have a reservation, we were able to get a table very quickly. After a dinner of amazing lamb shanks, we ordered tiramisu to share for dessert. Our waitress brought it with a candle, and I was serenaded with âhappy birthday!â It was a wonderful way to celebrate my special day!
