I spent New years Eve with my two German cousins, and it was hard to fid a table oat a resturant at the last minute. THe owner at La Corona was extremely accommodating, said that she would talk to the chef, and we were called back to say that we had the reservation. This is a traditional Italian restaurant, in the middle of the "tuscany of germany". They understand excellent food, attention to detail (like suggesting wine pairings right on the menu), and offer a truly inspired a menu that is Italian, but not typically so. The dining room was very busy that night - but service was very attentive - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, They have a thriving take out pizza business. I had some take out a week later - fantastic! We will be back.

been here a couple of times, It's small inside but not cramped, good selection on the Menu without it being too big, Food is prepared in open view, the waitress is very friendly and the food is good, it's not expensive and a lot better than a number of other places in the town.

This restaurant has nice seating outside, unfortunately next to the road. Good food and different affordable wines to chose from. If you do not have a German banking pass it is only cash. Yes modern Germany.

Telefonisch habe ich 3 verschiedene Pizzas bestellt. Nach 20 Minuten habe ich das Essen selbst in Edenkoben abgeholt. Der Gastraum ist sehr altmodisch und nicht besonders schön, es gibt 3 oder 4 kleien Tische und eine Theke. Aber das hat mich nicht gestört, denn es ist ja ein Pizza Lieferservice. Die Preise sind sehr günstig und beim selbst Abholen bekommt man noch 1 Euro Rabatt. Alle 3 Pizzas waren wirklich extrem gut. Wir waren begeistert.Und wir bestellen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Deutschland bestimmt wieder.

Wieder mal so ein rundum Erlebnis, bei dem ich die höchste Punktzahl vergeben kann. Ich bin mit der Note "ausgezeichnet" ja immer etwas zurückhaltend, aber diesmal hat mal wieder alles gepasst. Zufällig entdeckt, super Innenhof, ein Chef der eine echte Persönlichkeit darstellt und eine richtig authentische italienische Küche drauf hat. Besser geht's nicht - da komme ich gerne wieder hin, gracie mille!

I was invited to La Piazza by a friend while in Edenkoben on business. The restauarant itself is casual, clean, yet with an upscale feel. The service is always good, with the wait staff speaking several different (unfortunately English is not one of them). I had the pizza on my first visit and it was "good". The ingredients were average, but the crust was "very good". There's something about good homemade crust that easily sets it apart... Upon numerous future visits, I've ventured away from the basics and tried some of the specialty dishes. All were very good, but I highly recommend any of the pasta dishes (if you're a traditionalist, try the lasagna). All in all, the food and drink (decent wine and beer selection) make for a very good dining experience. It would take a very picky (non-Italian) eater to not enjoy a meal at La Piazza. PS - Yes, I'm Italian... Ciao!
