I'm always very skeptic when I approach italian food abroad. However, this restaurant would score 5 stars also in Italy. Useless to say that compared with the average Italian restaurant in Germany it's definitely outstanding. It's rather expensive, but the quality is at the top.Fresh food is excellent and there is a good selection of wines.Very nice owner and staff. Elegant and refined ambient.

the location of the pizzeria could not be better it is located in the heart of the city of Dusseldorf; people tired after shopping and partying can have a good meal. the pizzas are thin and baked in wood oven pizzas. the overall restaurant is bit crowded on the weekends but they have fast service.

Had dinner here very early on a Tuesday â glad we got there early as most tables seemed to have been reserved already. The place is very cosy and furnished in the traditional Italian restaurant style. We had the sole with vegetables (potatoes, broccoli and spinach), and the stuffed pasta and lamb, both at a very reasonable 20 euro each. The manager expertly opened up the sole, which added to the enjoyment as no bones to spoil the occasion, as we sipped the Italian wines. For the desserts we had gelato misto (a selection of ice creams, great taste & calories) and the chocolate mousse, which was really good. A real gem, but reservation essential unless you arrive very early.

We ate with friends and experienced a mixed evening generally. My starter (curry-lentil soup) and main (calfâs liver) were good, and my wife/friends enjoyed their meals on the whole, however the enjoyment of the evening was not helped by mixed service quality. We had a long wait for our main and were not offered drinks on arrival. As we looked around it seemed locals vs tourists stood out, as did the associated service. Only two working in the kitchen seemed to impact on timely service. Friends were disappointed by lack of s pizza option on this evening.Thank you for your feedback. We are always trying our best to offer the best possible service for our guest. We hope to see you again.

An absolutely wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant. Just 15 minutes from city center. We hosted our German friends here and they had never heard of this restaurant. The food was excellent. The service was warm, friendly and attentive. You feel at home in this place. We are Americans who love discovering local family owned "neighborhood" restaurants. This was a great find and our German friends said they will definitely return with their local friends. So many nice words to say about this place, the food and the owners. Not to be missed. On the evening we visited we ate outside and then we're easily accommodated for dessert and coffee indoors as the temperature cooled. We will definitely be back.

Food was very authentic & tasty. Service was excellent. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the portions were too big. Sad to see food being wasted for no reason. For more photo please check google. Thank you
