Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Dunedin. Rare yellow-eyed penguins, fur seals and the world's only mainland albatross colony share residence in Dunedin, New Zealand's oldest city. When you're not watching wildlife, this South Island Otago Coast town also boasts impressive historic architecture from its days as a gold-rush mecca. Visit the 1906 Flemish Renaissance railway station or the country's largest center of higher learning, which resembles Glasgow University, thanks to the area's early Scottish settlers.

Good pizza! Fast. Nice atmosphere. They have a menu of pizzas. Not the kind of place you create your own pile of toppings. I have a feeling if you asked for a shaker jar of parmesan they might take your pizza away and ask you to leave. They are creating specific pizzas and they are very good the way they serve them. If go back if I were here longer. Don't hesitate to go.

Handmade pizza baked in brick hearth oven.
Mamma Mia is a takeaway Pizza place that does traditonal pizzas - tasty and fragrant with fresh ingredients and thin bases so they aren't stodgy and overburdened with shovelfulls of toppings and sugary sauces. Just really very pleasent and expertly made by someone who knows theri business. And maybe stroll across the road to Rhubarb for a glass of wine while it gets made.

Terrible service. Waited 20 minutes for our to be taken after waving 3 times at the waitress. Waited 45 minutes and still no coffee let alone breakfast. Asked 3 times how long coffee and breakfast would be but got no answer. Ended up walking out!!!

For Dunedin's most loved pizza and pasta over many years, come to Zucchini Bros. Freshly made pizza and pasta using quality seasonal local ingredients to creat delicious flavours. Locally made craft beers, wines and juices are also on the menu, as is home
Visiting with family from Melbourne. We enjoyed the warm setting and service. Unfortunately, the food was below average.I understand living in a larger city like Melbourne there is many pizza and pasta places that offer authentic great Italian food. So eating at Zucchini Bros we had an open mind. The creamy carbonara looked like it and just been poured from a can. The bacon pieces were like dots and they was only a a small amount of mushrooms. The presentation was also poor. Why scrimp on bacon and mushrooms? The taste was bland. The mussel pasta was better but the herb breads had dried herbs. I am not sure why they donât use herbs from a herb garden. My family enjoyed the pizzas. Time for Zucchini Bros to re-evaluate. A more varied menu would help where they could offer other items than just pizza and pasta. The kitchen needs to get management to try a taste test and review some items on the menu.

Welcome to Gaslight. Take a step back in time as you enjoy the atmosphere of our boutique film noir themed restaurant set in an authentic 1890s brick building in the heart of the city. We offer a charming dining experience taking inspiration from French &
Lovely looking restaurant. Service while friendly was very slow and not very attentive. Food was average, vegan risotto was bland and the gnocchi, which has good reviews, was "like a fried gnocchi with too much sauce" according to my son. Chips were excellent though. Wouldn't put on my must try again list.

Iâve eaten a few times here now and the food is always good quality, whether youâre having the pasta or pizza - the desserts are also delicious. The wait staff are pretty good, but can feel a bit rushed when it gets busy. The restaurant itself has a nice feel to it with great decor and original features from the Savoy, but it tends to get noisy and very warm inside when packed full of people (just in case either of these points are likely to spoil your dining experience!).
