It's a family run restaurant with a great team of staff who have been with us for years. This is important to me as I feel customers appreciate having the same staff when they visit; it makes it more personal something that I aim for. My customers are ext

Garlic prawns with chilli hit the spot, with brilliant home baked garlic bread....followed by the best carbonara in living memory, a huge bowl of creamy deliciousness (should probably have had the starter portion, but ho hum!). Could do with a better rose wine offering, but a minor quibble..

We had drinks in here on a recent visit to Helensburgh and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the place! My husband and me remembered it as "the Imperial Hotel" back in the 70's when he was still in the Royal Navy... what a transformation! A very calm, interesting and peaceful venue - especially remembering the days of the "old Imps"! The staff were very helpful and the menu looked to be very good - I'm sure we'd have stayed to sample the food had not the grandchildren had their hearts set on fish suppers! We're so happy to have brought those fond memories! Thank you for your visit. We're bringing the hotel back soon so hopefully we'll see you again, maybe this time you'll stay with us for a night :)

Cucina is a Modern Contemporary Italian Style Restaurant, inspired by Italy...created at Cucina.
Great service, great menu, fantastic food. Probably the best steaks weâve ever had in the UK. Itâs so hard to find a restaurant that gets things right these days so we will definitely be going back to Cucina.

The prices are very reasonable. We all had the cooked breakfast. The sausages were cheap and really quite awful. Otherwise the food was good. A smile to strangers on entering cafe would make a difference. Only locals seemed to get a welcome. Please, please buy better sausages it would make a good breakfast great!

Came here for lunch Tuesday and cannot compliment the staff enough both for their friendliness and their accommodations for dietary restrictions. I am newly diagnosed lactose intolerant and Allan was great and allowed me to switch out regular cheese and mayo for vegan cheese and mayo (did have to pay £1 supplement for the cheese). Love that I can still get a great tasting bacon cheeseburger even with my new condition. Looking forward to returning very soon.
