Reviews on Italian food in Dublin, California, United States. Dublin (formerly, Amador and Dougherty's Station) is a suburban city of the East (San Francisco) Bay and Tri-Valley regions of Alameda County, California, United States. Located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown San Francisco, 23 miles (37 km) east of downtown Oakland, and 31 miles (50 km) north of downtown San Jose, it was referred to as "Dublin" in reference to the city of Dublin in Ireland because of the large number of Irish who lived there. The post office formally adopted the name in the 1890s.

Excellent place to take friends and your significant other for dinner. Excellent ambiance, excellent service, excellent food. By far, our favorite dish is the Calamari Steak (Baci smartly borrowed this meal from Fontina's Restaurant when, unfortunately, Fontina's went out of business).

This restaurant has great sauces and their raviolis are excellent. I like to go for the early bird special (before 6pm) as the prices for pasta dinners are under$ 20 including a soup or salad with your meal. Their asiago and garlic ravioli and their chicken pesto with pine nuts are delicious. Good service.

We have been to Giannis several times for a casual dinner and for celebrations. It is a lGiannis is a lovely, warm and welcoming place. The food is authentic and fresh, we especially love the fish, the gnocchi is out of this world and so is the wine! Hi, Thank you for being a great customer, and for leaving us an incredible review. We are so glad you love our gnocchi and fish. We can't wait for our next opportunity to serve you!

Located pretty much in one corner of an outdoor mall the interior is contemporary and comfortable if not a bit dark. The west facing windows allow enough sun and heat in unless the shades are lowered. In the summer air-conditioning is necessary though some people still opt to dine in the outdoor area. We were at a long table and I had the chance to try 3 salads, 3 entrees and 3 desserts. The salads we tried were Chopped Italian, Tuscan Greens and Pear Fields. Each was different enough and substantial and a great addition to our meal. The Short Rib Pappardelle was tender and tasty, the Pear Fiocchi was a delight and the Eggplant Rustica was presented well and enjoyed. The dessert dishes of Tiramisu and the Spumoni Bomb were definitely great ends to the meal while the Cannoli I would bypass. It was not overly busy at the dinner time so the service staff was not overworked. With the plethora of Italian dining establishments at so many price levels it still makes sense to consider Berevino.

A local upscale pizzeria chain, serving thin crust, East Coast-inspired pizzas. The menu includes chicken wings, salads, pasta, as well as gluten-free, vegetarian & vegan-friendly options. Dine-in ⢠Takeout ⢠Catering ⢠Delivery
We usually do take out from this place. Pasta, pizza, meatballs, salads...everything is good. My kid loves their mac&cheese a lot. I personally like the pesto pizza. Been doing take outs since 2013 and the food is good most of the times. The staff is responsive to complaints and they make sure you are left satisfied.

The positive: friendly wait staff. The rest, not so good. The lasagna was served lukewarm. The spaghetti was drowned in under cooked pasta sauce.Had to send my drink back to be re-made. The glass of wine was awful.

We visited Gay Nineties Pizza today and had the most amazing pizza! Great service, great pizza! If I had to be negative about anything then I would have to say about the air con - it came on just as the pizza was coming out and it did make us all shiver.

Had a very good dinner at De La Torre's Restaurant. The baby iceberg lettuce salad with avocado, tomato and Gorgonzola cheese was fresh and well prepared and the linguini marinara was full of large shrimp, scalllops, and clams. The bread and breadsticks were also very good. This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, being located in a strip mall, but it is quite nice inside and the service was friendly and helpful.
