I went there for dinner while visiting my favorite Cortland student and I was not disappointed. The service was really great - the servers genuinely cared about your experience. The food was really yummy and there were a lot of choices (I'm already thinking about what I'll order next time). The portions are enormous, so come hungry, order the half meal, or be prepared to go home with a lot of leftovers. The atmosphere is fun - totally unexpected given its location... so don't let the "hidden" part of the "hidden gem" stop you from having a great meal!
We ordered a house pie with half pepperoni and half spinach. The spinach was my favorite. It wasn't greasy or wet like some spinach pies can be. We also ordered honey bbq wings. They were a little sweet, a little salty, a little spicy and all around delicious.

Tuscan culture embraces a cuisine that is inspired by availability and accessibility. At Taverna Banfi, our seasonal menus reflect this attitude. Located at the heart of Cornell University's campus, our casual fine dining atmosphere is perfect for enterta
I was actually quite surprised at the food quality and service of this restaurant inside the Statler Hotel, on the campus of Cornell University. My short rib was great - a couple of the pasta's were also excellent. The Banfi Salad was just okay. But overall this was a worthy dining experience and very convenient if you are staying in the hotel. The wine list is also excellent. I made a math error when adding the tip to the bill which probably excludes me from visiting Cornell again.

Enjoy our unique and expansive dinner menu that includes homemade pasta, sauces and seasonal ingredients. We have a full bar with a well-curated Italian and Finger Lakes wine list, and a rotating selection of both inventive and classic cocktails. Dine alo
Pleasant ambiance, well trained informed waitstaff. Ordered the Branzini on our visit, came to the table whole, it was cumbersome to eat, the plate wasn't large enough for me to do it neatly without fish falling off the plate, a little sloppy. I understand presentation .... BUT waitstaff should be trained to do a little tableside and debone the fish or sent back to the kitchen, a Big misstep in my mind. That aside it was a memorable meal. The charred octopus was amazing! Clams with squid ink pasta equally good. There are no Salt & Pepper shakers on the table, the Chef's palate is complex but spot on.The desserts selection could be a little larger, some items were sold out.

Cortland doesn't have the greatest restaurant scene, so our choices for dinner were somewhat limited if we didn't want to drive a lot. But the Green Arch looked like a solid choice, and we were not disappointed. As we drove up, we could tell the place was popular, with lots of cars parked along the road on both sides of the street (the restaurant does not have a dedicated parking lot, but parking on the street was very easy). The choice in appetizers was a little sparse, so we skipped them (which was probably just as well, since the entree servings were large). Also, all our entrees came with small salads, which was nice: between that and the bread, we had enough to munch on until our entrees arrived. I ordered the ravioli which was quite nice, and seemed freshly made, and I liked that I could "customize" it with meatballs and mushrooms. We also tried the primavera, and the pork chops, both good. We were quite full after that (had to bring some home), but still decided to try one dessert, which we split among us (a piece of the almond cake). Between the cake and cappuccinos, it was a nice finish to the meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, overall prices were reasonable and the food was good. I'm sure we'll be back in the future.James. Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our restaurant. I am very pleased that you had a delightful experience. Yes parking is tough. We do own the lot on the corner as well, but it too fills up fast. I hope to see you again sometime soon. All the best!
Just ate there this evening for the first time and were very pleased. Nice, comfortable atmosphere and staff. Since they have panini in their name we had the chicken/fontina/roasted pepper and smoked salmon paninis. Both were recommended by our waitress and excellent. They also came with a small salad. My wife also had the Nutella/canolli cream crepe desert and loved it. Since the sandwiches were so good, we will go back and try some of the dinner specials.

Hubby and I went here on a drizzly Monday in July for lunch. Very nice restaurant! We ordered some Arancini for an appetizer and were served three on a long tray with marinara sauce. Not like in Italy but very good! I ordered a margarita pizza and that was good, though the crust could have been more chewy. Husband ordered chicken fettacini dish that was a special. He really enjoyed that and finished it off. For dessert we shared a limoncello mascarpone cake that was sensational! Very nice meal and we would definitely return when we are in the area.

We were traveling through Freeville, outside of Dryden, on our way to a family reunion. Happened upon this quaint restaurant. They sell Greek, Italian, and American food. Large quantities and tastes great! When we were there, the cook, waiter, and receptionist, were all the same man. But it was at an odd time on a weekday, and he handled it all just fine.I got a meatball parm 6" sub. Good tasting. But the side of Onion Rings were just awesome. Great flavor. Will be happy to stop in here again!!

Carrozzas has excellent food. We have gotten take out there a number of times as we live locally. We have had a variety of different food and it's all been good! The garlic Parm wings are my favorite along with the pepperoni rolls. I also feel that the food is priced fair. The workers are polite, kind and genuinely enjoy their jobs. They always ask for feedback as they know we are return customers. The place including the bathrooms is also super clean!
