The building is a lovely renovated monastery, although the actual restaurant is in what was once the stables. There is also an old church on the premises that the owners were happy to show us. As the weather was good, we had a great view of the countryside, so it is a great place is you have children. The food itself was excellent. There was a fixed menu. I particularly liked the pasta dishes, as they are cooked really well, al dente, and they are clearly homemade. The service is great, friendly, it's like eating at a friend's house! The dishes are simple, tasty, and they only use products that they make themselves, even the limoncello. Don't expect fancy food as you are not going to get it here.4 starters, 2 pasts dishes, one meat dish and two desserts for 25 euros. You can't really complain about that, can you!

We experienced a great lunch at the Trading Post. We were a bit short on italian words for ordering but that was no problem for the wait staff who arranged for another staff member to assist. The food and wine was fantastic. Highly recommend the Trading Post.

L'ACCIUGA NEL BOSCO offers a modern revisiting of traditional piedmonts cuisine
A really lovely example of Italy's Agriturismo cuisine; tucked away in the hills 10 minute drive from Dogliano. The restaurant is run by Ettore and Alessia who were excellent hosts throughout the evening - nothing was too much trouble! The food was superb and recommended wine more than matched our expectations. Overall a very pleasant experience in a remote, peaceful and beautiful location - not your everyday dining experience but worthwhile making the effort to find this place - would recommend a visit - don't forget the mosquito spray!!!

The piazza was empty now that it was off season. the local church was fantastic and worth a visit. It was lunch tiem and we were invited to the Osteria owned and run by Signora Battaglino.Good food, vino fantastico, great ambience and a service I did not expect still existed. Amazing, thank you for a lovely lunch. If you are in Dogliani, treat yourself to a lunch here.

La Locanda is a newly opened restaurant hidden under the arches of a small Piazza in central Dogliani. The atmosphere is excellent, the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Staff was warm and helpful. The menu is has enough for choose from; a vegetarian and four children (who sometimes can be quite fussy) enjoyed it too. All dishes were very good, but the Ravioli was exceptional. We had an amazing final evening in Dogliani and I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Il locale è aperto esclusivamente su prenotazione , consigliata chiamata telefonica o email , grazie .
Thus is a great place for typical Italian food with great service. We had tasteful antipasti, freat pastas and tasteful rabbit. Service was great and very kind. Also a very nice affordable winelist. make sure to ask them to cool down the red wines a bit.

In the little streets of Dogliani Castello, away from traffic, a casually elegant restaurant, in a building of "700 with a beautiful garden-terrace.The kitchen is rooted in the tradition with a touch of personality and joins the "classics" of Langa with t
We had an excellent meal here. The food was delicious & the service was very good. They have outdoor seating in season. We ate inside. Very attractive place. Definitely a place to eat when you are in Le Langhe. Not outrageously expensive prices either with an excellent wine list.

Our guide booked our small group (6) here for our first local dinner, and everyone was pleased. We all shared starters, including a nice version on the cold, thin sliced veal with tuna sauce, and vegetable timbales (often called flan in this area) and focaccia. The pasta course was tailaini .. tagliatelle-type pasta but cut very narrow, obviously hand made, served with a tomato sauce and local sausage. The mains were all well-received, especially the veal. Every course was paired with a local wine.It was a lovely night and we ate outside on the terrace.
