This is a favorite Italian restaurant of ours, and we were happy to introduce the place to some friends who loved it. We had delicious appetizers (bacon-wrapped something and cheese-infused spinach rice balls) and entrees (pasta purses and salmon with sweet potatoes. With fabulous wine of course. And, the portions were so large, we all had leftovers and no room for dessert. Our service by Holly was excellent as well. She was attentive and eager to please us. We canât wait to return.

Little Villa Restaurant and Pizzeria is a family-owned restaurant that has been serving the most delicious Italian cuisine in the Des Plaines, IL area. Available for dine-in, carryout or delivery. Daily specials are available, so call or stop in now.
We used to enjoy going to Little Villa at least several times a month. However, reasons unknown, menu choices were not as enjoyable as in the past. We decided to try again. Eggplant parm was my choice with a pasta side. The gravy (sauce) concentrated heavily on paste, rather than tomatoes. Overly thick and not too enjoyable. Hubby chose a special identified as chicken Roma over bow tie pasta. I've never seen a chicken entree with pieces smaller than popcorn. Medallions of chicken over the pasta would have certainly pleased the palate much better.Don't know what contributes to the decline in food prep. But based on the lack of patrons last night, definite improvements are sorely needed.Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your food was not as you remember it. I am interested what day or night when you were here. Please email me with your full name and address I would like to send a gift certificate to give us another try.

Early afternoon for 100+ guests in a private dinning area. This was a buffet style meal, service was a little slow in getting the meal set up with only 2 staff people for everything.Being a buffet everything was served in warming pans and either over heated or not hot enough. So it is hard to give a true rating on the meal. There should have been 4 total staff for a group this large. You had lots of waiting for coffee, water and table clearing at the end.The dessert pastries were very good at the end of he meal.Plenty of parking across the street.

There are some things that should be on every visitors âbucket listâ when it comes to regional fare. Their deep dish pizza, local brews and family style dishes are what itâs all about when it comes to pizza pie in the Windy City. You gotta try it.

Purchased family salad, small Special...deep dish and small half cheese half pepperoni and sausage.Environment very nice, very busy! Waitress was okay, but not terribly attentive... but pleasant. For me, the flavors were bland and not aggregate, seemed each ingredient was unrelated to the sum of the finished product. Like eating layers of separate ingredients. Crust was biggest disappointment... very bland, texture hard, not soft or chewy, flavorless. Presentation was wonderful, just didn't live up to expectations. Probably would never return... however, I must be alone in my feelings as the restaurant was full with people waiting to get in.

Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse, opened to the public on August 10, 1999. Located just minutes from the O'Hare International Airport inside the Holiday Inn and Suites, this location brings the same friendly confines and award-winning Italian Steakhouse c
This place in rosemont /des plaines area doesnât have the full menu like the other downtown flagships . However, it has a nice patio area, beautiful massive bar and then a formal eat in as well. My wife ordered a pasta dish she loved and I ordered the pork chop. Yes, the pork chop was small compared to other places but I ordered it medium and it was the juiciest and best tasting chop Iâve ever had . All sides are a la carte. I will post photos Thank you for visiting Harry's in Rosemont! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit. Unless you were there late at night, the menu would have been the same as our flagship River North location. We'd like to understand what menu you might have received and would appreciate it if you'd reach out to us at [email protected] so that we can learn more. Thanks so much!

Host was friendly. But that was the highlight. Checked my suitcase (came straight from airport) but when I was leaving the closet door was open and no one was watching over it. Food was below average. Had the âspecialâ of risotto with sliced filet mignon which was basically cut up well done small pieces of meat mixed in with rice. Colleague said swordfish was dry as a bone. We had a separate room and restaurant was accommodating but the food really needs work.Dear Colafina,Thank you for your feedback. We take every single review seriously and will share your experience with the entire team. It is extremely unusual that the closet is ever left unattended. I have addressed that immediately. Regarding the food, we are so disappointed to hear that the food did not meet your expectations. We of course hope that you will allow us another opportunity to make your impression right. If you would like to discuss this with me further please reach out.

Havenât been here for a long time. Last time was an extended delay - with a reservation. This time we had an early reservation and got seated right away. Restaurant quickly filled up. It was exceedingly noisy. Very hard to carry on a conversation. Large selection of good and interesting Italian dishes. Enjoyed our food - pasta for the Mrs. and chicken with sausage and peppers for me. Wish it were a little quieter though.

The food is very good here and the staff are good as well. Inside the dining area is a bit tight. I thought the prices were a little high, but I would still come back.

My wife and I are from out of town; found this place on TripAdvisor. Blown away by the quality of the food. Havenât had Italian food this good since we were in Italy. Appetizers: grilled baby octopus (so tender!) and burrata with antipasti. Entrees: spaghetti carbonara and involtini with rigatoni in a tomato sauce. Both pastas were amazing: pasta cooked perfectly, and sauces seasoned just right. We loved the ambience and the service. I would highly recommend this restaurant. This is not Olive Garden; this is the way Italian food should be.
