The service, atmosphere, and cuisine were first class. We live in Australia, but visit every year and we are sure to come again. Your chef is an artist and one can see that he loves his work and is good at it.

Wir haben etwas getrunken und ein Eis gegessen. Schön ist, dass der Inhaber es toleriert wenn sich Leute hinsetzen, auch wenn sie keinen Eisbecher bestellen.Ich als âOldieâ bekam auf meinen Wunsch sogar ein Kinderspaghettieis. Das hat man selten. Preise vernünftig. Eis lecker. Service sehr gut. Die junge Dame an der Theke macht einen super Job! Absolut freundlich und kundenorientiert. So soll es sein.Jederzeit wieder!

Visited this restaurant for a casual dinner with my husband and baby. We left with very satisfied and well fed tummies! The handmade pasta was delicious, tasted very fresh and texture was very different from the instant variety which we are used to. We tried both the aglio olio and vongole sauce, both were wonderfully tasty. Pizza was good as well, the dough freshly kneaded and then baked in a traditional oven. However I would recommend every guest to try the top quality pasta instead of the pizza if visiting for the first time! Service was great - they split the pizza for us when we said we were sharing. Staff were friendly. Overall a great dining experience.

been here a couple of times, It's small inside but not cramped, good selection on the Menu without it being too big, Food is prepared in open view, the waitress is very friendly and the food is good, it's not expensive and a lot better than a number of other places in the town.

But not much more. Cheap evening meal, a version of polo cacciatore and a version of polo saltimbocca. Served with a good salad and chips. How much better with sauté potato's or bratkottofel. OK all he same.

Small trattoria type of a place where the lady owner can be seen handling the cash and the tables. Very personalised style. The food is excellent as are the pizzas, my favourite place in Deidesheim. On every visit, I must eat their once. When the weather is nice outside is beautiful to sit and have Alfresco dining pleasure.Prices are moderate too-service is as expected- fairly efficient.

My friends and I enjoyed excellent pasta dinners at this wonderful family-run restaurant. The service was outstanding...so much so that Giovanni even walked to our hotel a few blocks away and escorted us to the restaurant during a rain storm.I highly recommend Giovanni & Famiglia Restaurant.
