I went to Bacco e Arianna for a business dinner. On the west side of Milan (Trezzano S.N.), it is a small and cozy place. Food quality and presentation at the top. Wine selection limited although at reasonable price. Overall price a bit more than market level. Main dish (secondo piatto) in average 25 â¬.

This is a special restaurant where you can enjoy really fresh fish , served in many different ways . Great famous " raw fish . " They can follow tasty pasta dishes and main courses of fish. The pizzas are special because they are made to the Napoletana wi
In an absolute unattractive industrial environment, mids large ikea-style shopping centers and overbusy highways and crossings, lies this rather small restaurant. Being a guest in the (also good) Best Western hotel almost next door, we decided to give it a try. The service was fast and friendly in a nicely âmarineâ decorated atmosphere as this is mainly a fish oriented place. We had a fantastic trio of tartars (tuna, shrimp, salmon). Main course were tuna, squid and a pizza. Everything was really nicely presented, top class! Good wines and everything was even fairly priced. The next day we came back, and happy again. So, definitely a place that I recommend!

This restaurant is in the vicinity of my hotel in Milan. First time I was taken here by my customer, who has offices nearby. When you enter the restaurant, you see a cosy, simple setup. No luxury, I would say typical local place to eat. Everything is well-maintained. Clean. Enough light. Left from the entrance there a wood-heated oven. Excellent! That's the way to make pizza's... The food is really good, prices are not high, value for money is excellent. At that first night I had the Pizza Quatro Formaggi. Loved it. As a desert a freshly made panna cotta con frutti di bosca. Mmmm loved it.The evening after I went there for a second time. Trying something completely different (no pizza), I choose the Tuna with popcorn/caramel. Didn't know what to expect. Sounded a strange combination. But I must say, if you like Tuna, choose this!!! Wow. I really liked that. The Tiramisu as a desert was great. Both nights we had the wines of the house. Bottle of red first time, carafe of white second. Good choice. There are better choices on the menu at very acceptable prices, but the wines being served are also good. I certainly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for good food at reasonable prices, go here. And enjoy.

This place is in a small town outside Milano. You really know how to get there and you won't be able to find it unless you are a local or have a GPS navigator (and a car). This restaurant cooks all the meals at once for everyone inside. The restaurant waits for all the customers to arrive and starts cooking and serving a very reasonably priced fixed menu meal of the day. The funny name of this place means "eat and shut up" in the Milanese dialect, because they will bring you the food from their menu of the day without asking you what would you like. They will accommodate some special food requests like lactose free food, though, and cook something different if the recipe of the menu can't be changed. You can order wines from a nice wine list which has very honest prices. Dinner started around 9 pm with some antipasti of sliced salami, lardo, capocollo, mortadella and some pickled peppers and onions. I then got some risotto and some grilled polenta and some sauteed mushrooms in a light gravy. There was also some polenta with cheese and sausage. Next dish was regular polenta, roasted potatoes and veal shin. Meal ended with a layered cake and whipped cream and some spiced coffee drink. That was a lot of excellent food. We left the place late at night (almost 1 am) like everyone else did because the dinner ended at the sane time for all of us. The owners-waiters (this place IS family owned) were courteous and attentive and asked us if we needed more food when they noticed that our dishes were empty. There was a long wait between each dish like they gave you the time to enjoy conversation and start digesting while they were cooking the next one. There is a small clock next to the entrance, but you barely see it and you don't need to. We spend our evening happily and we left late without noticing that so much time had passed. Don't miss this place.

With some surprise Iâve discovered out in a Milan countryside just passed Cusago a former bar dedicated to fishermen of this artificial lake turned into a restaurant that somehow made it through with a nice terrace facing the water & shore and nothing else. Overall, it's a positive mark. The view it's pleasant and the surroundings quite silence. The menu on Sunday offers two options : their working week fixed price menu with limited choices but at a very reasonable price as well a la carte menu with the dishes of the day, apparently more fancy and appealing. The service instead was a bit messy, struggling at first and taking a bit too long before being served partially while left on your own for the dressing and bread which i ended up stealing from the next table. House wine wasn't a good choice, I should have gone for a selected label, good tip for the next time while their COTOLETTA alla MILANESE ( T-bone MILANESE VEAL Fried on bread crumbs ) was definitely good. it was gold fried at the right point, not burnt or dirrping oild neither and properlly cooked inside .Hence, I strongly suggest it.I was pleased with my lately discover, the location is quite interesting and allows you to have a break from the busy and chaotic city life at only 20minutes away from Milan. Iâll try to be back around mid-week to take advantage of their fixed price menu to see how good it gets. ciaoEpi

My family told me about this place several times, raising my curiosity so much that the first time I came back to Milan, I immediately booked a table. As everything precious, also this address demands a certain effort to be found. But the reward is there. A nice secret garden surrounding a 70's design villa where in the spacious main floor you can count on two hands the tables of this restaurant. The set up is very luxurious in terms of space management. The temperature of your heart raises immediately as soon as the charming owner welcomes you with her delicate pathos. Once you get used to the déjà vu of feeling at home, you are given a menu which is a dive into the good, humble northern Italian way of cooking. Recipes are simple and yet showcase the best ingredients you can find in the market. And once you start tasting the dishes, you realise that some sort of magic is being created in the kitchen. Yes, everything tastes good. Wine suggestions are appropriate and dig into a selection of totally unknown small producers, which makes you feel it is time to discover new wineries.

First of all the atmosphere is fantastic, after very warm welcome I was directed to the table (I did not book but it was not an issue) and I was advised about the food. The choice was excellent and the tiramisu is the best I have ever eaten!!. Service was perfect, not too offensive but helpful and creating warm atmosphere. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to feel Italian hospitality and taste great food,
