ASK Italian in Burgess Hill is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Ital
Went as a group. Sign up saying no pizzas other than classic so a little restricting then told no diet coke left. Nearly I member of staff per table but service from the kitchen is sooo slow. Feel that the meals are just ok, nothing special and very over priced.

Bright and modern, Pizza Express offers an exciting reinvention of Italian classics. A vibrant menu includes wholesome Romana-style pizzas with adventurous topping combinations, as well as fresh salads, an impressive range behind the bar and aromatic coff
Have been bringing our two children here for 16+ years and it has been consistently good. That said, this was our first visit for many years. The option was Zizzi, our error with hindsight. The restaurant is looking very tired and dog-eared and needs updating. Before we even ate, and whilst ordering, we were told by our server, in very broken English, that they had run out of the spicy chipotle sauce for the Barbacoa pizza, had run out of pink lemonade, at 1930 on a Friday, and no longer served sweet corn as a topping. Three of our four starters were served, and were good, especially the calamari, if a little pricey. The fourth starter, my daughterâs dough balls, arrived after the three of us had finished ours and after we had chased it up. Main course pizzas were very good, again three out of the four. I chose the Barbacoa, which without the correct sauce was a mistake, and it was pretty poor - it was not âsmoky, spicy or full flavouredâ with hardly any pulled beef and way too much raw, chopped tomato. After asking twice for chilli oil I got up and borrowed some from another table. The bill was pushed over the £100 mark by the £24.95 bottle of Prosecco (£24.95!!), even with my sonâs student discount. Pizza Express Haywards Heath feels past its sell-by date and in need of some TLC. I would give it a miss.

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. Our Haywards Heath restaurant is located a
On a recent visit to our local Zizzi's restaurant in Haywards Heath, we ordered pizzas which were exceptional. They were thin, crispy and with lots of topping, just how we like them and served by our lovely waiter Sylwester who is always so friendly and professional. In fact the whole team at Zizzi's now are great (Simon, Dean, Tom, Gemma, Lucca and all the team). Thank you, keep up the excellent work

Cafe by day, Bar by night the perfect place to eat or drink, day or night from your morning coffee and a flick through the papers, a working lunch, to cocktails and a great night out.
Came to Hayewards Heath to visit an old uni friend, never been to the town before so didnât know what to expect. We came to this bar as itâs one of her favourite places and we had a fantastic evening. We were served by a young guy called Josh he was friendly, professional, very attentive and my type so an all rounder there! The drinks and food were served super quick and to a high quality, not to mention a decent price for what we got. All in all had a great night will definitely be coming back next time I visit.

Rea; Italian Run Family business with variety of selection of steaks, fish, pasta, [pizza dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and cooked by a proper Italian Chef.
This small restaurant is an excellent Italian venue to visit. Run by an Italian family, the large menu is full of delicious food. Service was prompt. Atmosphere friendly & was full on a Monday evening. Booking is essential. The swordfish with sunbaked tomatoes was very tasty & my companions enjoyed pasta ,pizza & calzone. A good selection of gelati rounded off a 3 course meal. Because of the small size & crowd in the restaurant the noise levels are high, which may be difficult for some people. I would definitely recommend & hope to go again soon

We have now visited Paolino Italian Restaurant 3 times, having originally spotted it whilst driving through Lindfield. All 3 of our visits have been exceptional.Capturing the real spirit of Italy, the restaurant is clean, welcoming and atmospheric. We are always made to feel extremely welcome and almost part of the family by the staff, with one waitress in particular able to remember exactly what we ordered the last time we visited, even though it was 2 months earlier! Most importantly, the food is exceptional. Having recently been on holiday to Italy, we were looking for an authentic Italian taste, and this is exactly what we got; the food served at Paolino every bit as good as what we ate in Sorrento. On our second visit, we took friends who had come to stay with us from a different part of the country. They are already keen to visit again - not because they especially want to see us, but because they want to return to Paolino!Very much looking forward to visit number 4...
