My husband and I are pizza addicts and are always in search of a GREAT pie (not just 'good'). Here is Crystal River, THIS one is the best we have found. By the slice or the whole pie, their New York Style pizza never disappoints. A must try for pizza lovers.

The nice staff was not enough to make us forget the prices which are way over the quality provided.Portions are OK but tomato sauce is tasteless, probably a lot of water added to make a bigger quantity.Pasta were over cooked as well...The so-called salad provided does not help in justifying the price either. Conclusion: don't go!

My husband and I visited Schiano's in the new location, and were so happy that we did. We started out with a garden salad and shared some garlic knots. So good! The salads were crisp, with fresh veggies and an adequate amount of dressing served on the side. The garlic knots smelled amazing and tasted just as good. The house made marinara that was served with them was fantastic. We then shared a large pepperoni pizza. (Half went home with us as the large pie is huge.) The house made sauce was delicious, as were the cheese and pepperoni. (Not sure of the brand of pepperoni- but it is good!) The cheese was plentiful without going overboard and the crust was tasty. Service was excellent and the restaurant is spotlessly clean, and well organized. We will be back.

My wife and I went with two other couples. We had a great time. The Itlian dishes are authentic Sicilian style. The service and friendliness was excellent. They have a full bar, so a martini to start followed by a nice bottle of wine made everything nice.

This place used to be amazing. Under the new ownership the authenticity has been lost. I ordered the pulled pork lunch special. It was dry as a bone. The beans were completely unseasoned. Straight from the can. The white rice tasted unsalted. I used to love this place. I probably won't be back.
