Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States. Conshohocken (/ˌkɒnʃəˈhɒkən/ kon-shə-HOK-ən; Lenape: Kanshihakink) is a borough on the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in suburban Philadelphia. Historically a large mill town and industrial and manufacturing center, after the decline of industry in recent years Conshohocken has developed into a center of riverfront commercial and residential development. In the regional slang, it is sometimes referred to by the colloquial nickname Conshy (/ˈkɒnʃi/ KON-shee). The name "Conshohocken" comes from the Unami language, from either Kanshi'hak'ing, meaning "Elegant-ground- place", or, more likely, Chottschinschu'hak'ing, which means "Big-trough-ground-place" or "Large-bowl-ground-place", referring to the big bend in the Tulpe'hanna (Turtle River, or modern Schuylkill River).

Sure you can order classics like chicken parm which are excellent but step out and try the pasta cardinale. The bottom line with this place is it's food is so fresh. You can tell nothings been pulled out of a freezer. Only issue here is no space to sit in the winter time.

Ok, so not really a restaurant, but absolutely THE best Italian take out I have ever had.. I literally "stumbled" upon this place about two years ago.. And now, it is an absolute "go to" for fantastic and authentic Italian.. Everything (and I mean everything) is homemade.. Most recently, my wife and I were on our way to a friends house when we suggested that we stop and pick up dinner for the four of us.. We ate like royalty for under $10 a person... Convenient, easy, reasonable and absolutely delicious.. In addition to the great Italin fare, they make some absolutely wonderful soups as well..
I have been coming here for years. Same owners/brothers have owned this place from the start. As for the food. .... it just doesnt get any better than this. pizza and antipasto are the best....but they do however have some great homemade dishes. the service is GREAT and I mean GREAT. They once made a mistake by asking me to try a chicken steak made with Pizza dough for bread.....what a mistake.... I now want it every time I come in as it is that good. Tony & Joe's Pizzeria has been in business since 1976. We serve many different combinations of pizza. We also feature Italian dinners as well as hoagies and steaks. We are BYOB so feel free to bring some beer to go with your pizza or some wine to go with
Visiting the area for a wedding and I was in charge of finding pizza for the family get together, about 20 people. Now that's a lot of pizza to be made and delivered within an hour's notice. I found Tony&Joe's as I was driving down Fayette Street. I entered and told them what I needed and of course, "no problem, give us 30 minutes". I ordered about 8 different pizzas and two of them were gluten-free. I had one of their cheese steaks. They staff were all very friendly and quite conversant as I learned all about the family, restaurant, etc. They don't sell beer, but told me where to buy and bring in for a drink. They also supplied all the plates, plastic ware, napkins and offered to help getting it into the car. All of this ran about $120.00, a real bargain. Back at the hotel, the pizzas were devoured with kudos from everyone. I think that there were only 4 pieces left, and that was mostly the gluten free. My cheese steak was good, but I'm guessing there are better ones in the area. The location is great with lots to see along Fayette Street. Definitely try this one!

Another good dining experience at Stella. Food is consistently good here. I got the chicken and sausage, wife got filet, the other couple got scallops and chicken rollatini. All we're very good and portions were generous. The scallops were cooked perfectly. We also got the grilled romaine and tomato bisque soup for appetizer. Again very good. The price is fair and in the range for this area. Service was excellent. I would recommend reservations as the place is small. It can get a little loud but again nothing out of the ordinary.

Had been thinking about going for dinner on numerous occasion however, always seemed to go else where. We lucked in to a parking space outside the restaurant. To be brief we thought the service sub standard as we had to ask for everything (bread, butter, olive oil, pepper mill,). The food was uninteresting so much so we didn't bother with dessert. Have been there,.. have done that. Will not go again. Possibly the restaurant was having a bad night!

This is different than Totaro's Restaurant on E. Hector St. (this is two blocks away), but owned by the same family. Phone is 610-828-7050. Fax is 610-828-7052
I've been searching for a quality real Italian restaurant since living in Italy years ago. Other restaurants just can't compare! The food is all homemade and wonderful. The lunch specials are a DEAL and fantastic. Cute little gelato cart? Yes please. Homemade pastas with amazing sauces and meats? Yep... gimme! You can't go wrong with this gem and it's off the beaten path- so you don't have to deal with the typical workday lunch crowds. The outdoor seating is cute and typically quiet. The service is wonderful and staff are VERY attentive. Just go- whether it be for a sandwich, soup, pasta, or salad.

"Bar Luccaâs menu features the delicious cuisine of some of my favorite regions of Italy and throughout the Mediterranean. I am excited to bring authentic ingredients, handmade doughs, and the Italian way of food to the emerging culinary scene in Conshoho
Wonderful service, had a friendly restaurant manager who chatted with us. The experience was great from start to finish. Food was delish. Special seared tuna was beautiful.

Pepperoncini Restaurant, Bar & Catering serves fine Italian cuisine in a cozy, corner bar atmosphere. A neighborhood gem, Pepperoncini was one of the first restaurants to establish Conshohocken as a dining destination.
I ordered the âfiletâ which was a special item off the menu and it was absolutely terrible. It definitely wasnât a filet cut..it tasted grainy and cheap. Itâs such a shame because I was anticipating a great meal. Donât go to this restaurant. Clearly the chefs knew they served me garbage and thatâs not acceptable. I told the manager and she took care of the problem however itâs disturbing that the chef would allow such a terrible experience for customers.
