Booked a week in advance yet were given a table near the kitchen despite requesting a table near front windows which was confirmed. Mains arrived prior to us finishing starters with for no apparent reason as they were not busy and well before closing. Meals were bland and tasteless.Staff were unwelcoming and wanted to rush us out the door clearing the table as soon as we were finished and just 'grabbed' at plates etc with no 'Excuse me' or such. We have frequented this place in the past, however, service standards and food quality are rapidly deteriorating. We ended up leaving sans the coffee and desert offering opting to travel up the road where we we welcomed (without any booking) by a direct competitor.

We had their seafood hotpot special and scotch fillet and our friends had pizzas. The seafood hotpot was a nice combination of fish, prawns, mussels and octopus and was very tasty. Our friends really enjoyed their pizzas which were also a good size. My wife enjoyes her scotch fillet although it looked like there was less than 300 grams as stated on the menu. The place was full on Saturday night so bookings are recommended.

We came to this neighbourhood restaurant with friends, excited to experience for ourselves what so many others had raved about. Unfortunately for myself and my husband, we really were not impressed at all by the food (although the service was very warm and friendly throughout). Napule prides itself on serving traditional Neapolitan food, with an emphasis on home made and sustainable. However, this great identity and promise of what was to come, didn't match with what we ate. Starting with some bonus freebies, we had some fried "balls" with seaweed. They tasted pretty bland, and weirdly spongy, although the batter was light. So - not promising, but not too bad. From there, we had the mushroom croquettes (very heavy and strange-tasting) and a mix of entrees none of which were overly thrilling. After this: some mixed pizzas and pasta. The pizza was good, and by far the best thing we tasted that evening. The base was light and tasty, and the toppings all tasted really good. But for the rest - and especially the pasta and specialty gnocchi - it was all bland tasting and again, some weird textures... I really hoped for something special but what we got was both underwhelming and over priced, which is a brutal combination. The seafood used was good, but this couldn't elevate the experience, when the majority of what was on our plates was not good. As we were part of a group, I didn't feel comfortable saying anything to the staff, who did keep coming to check on us, but I did feel that the dishes were consistently disappointing and that the menu didn't offer a great deal of choice. The flavours were not like anything I've experienced either on holiday in, or during my time living in, Italy and I wouldn't return. The feeling we have is of being gipped - the food didn't deliver, and the price was significant especially for the experience we had. The pizza was good - but that wasn't enough to save this.

This was our second time visiting this cafe, first time food was hot and delicious, this time, very disappointed, we waited a long time, we where both starving, when it did arrive, food was so cold, it was hard to eat, we mention it at counter, to be told that maybe it was cold cause we sat outside, waiter had just put food down, donât think Iâll go there again.

Inspired By Sydneyâs Beautiful Foreshore And Paying Homage To The Restaurantâs Strong Italian Ties, Angeloâs Cabarita Offers A Contemporary Dining Atmosphere Featuring A Terrazzo Marble Bar, Natural European Oak Floors, Bespoke Lighting And A Private Dini
I really enjoyed the fond on my recent visit, and the views from the restaurant are lovely. But the noise is unbearable. I cannot return! There are no table cloths, no curtains, no carpet, nothing to absorb the noise. With a crowd of people it is so loud you cannot even hear or talk to the people on your own table. I left the restaurant with ringing ears. Why haven't they got enough sense to to put in something to absorb the noise???

An old chest is near the entrance of Urbano. It was recovered and renovated by Laz, the owner, after being found at the back of the premises, which originally was the hardware store opposite Homebush primary school. The commercial history of this chest, carefully crafted into re-use near the roaster, fits this restaurant so very well...How do we know this small piece of history? 6 of us dined at Urbano last night and we were welcomed by Laz. 3 of our 6 had been students across the road a long time ago (and 3 also at HBHS up the road) and discussion with Laz turned to Homebush in the 60s. Laz told us the history of his Mum and Dad's restaurants and their brewing activities along with the story of moving restaurants from Concord to Homebush and how Urbano developed under Laz. Laz was really interested to learn more of the history of Homebush. We all were taken by Laz's friendliness and that of all the staff. This is a great 'all day' restaurant and coffee place. My first visit but one of our group vouched for lunch and coffee there - when Laz's Mum and Dad take control. Two of our group commented that the family's previous restaurant at Concord had been really good and very popular - luckily Urbano is a lot larger. The food last night at Urbano was great - and so was the service. A terrific, friendly restaurant that has a really nice, slightly industrial ambience that really works.Recommended? Absolutely, it was altogether a great night - added to by the friendliness we saw displayed not only to us but to everyone as the staff smiled about their work. Suggestion - check out the online menus just to be sure the Italian/Greek mix suits you. It certainly did suit us. Fantastic food!

Went here for an early dinner with a group of 7 on New Years Day when most restaurants in the area were closed. The food was great, especially the pizza. The service wasnât great though. Despite plenty of staff milling around some perhaps inexperienced) we were never asked for a second round of drinks or asked whether we wanted desert or coffee, which was really odd. We also had issues getting the bill - had to ask twice.

Had dinner here the other evening and we were disappointed with the food. Pizza just dropped everywhere, pasta was salty and very ordinary. We also ordered a veal which was bland. The waiters were quite attentive which was a positive. Also overpriced for what is served. Would not recommend.

There was a bunch of us, so we were in the back function room. The food was delicious! We had pizzaâs and pastas and salads galore leaving us all full and happy. The service from staff was top shelf as was the whole environment and feel of the restaurant. Thanks so much to Costa & the team for accomodating us all. Definitely keep Espresso Organica in mind - especially for any functions. This review made our day! The Espresso Organica team appreciate your kind words about our delicious food and brilliant staff. Weâre really grateful for your feedback and look forward to serving you again!

We held our daughters Holy Communion lunch at Fratelli's this August and had a wonderful and memorable day. Rob and his team were very accommodating to all our requirements. The food was excellent, we opted for the $69 set menu, which included the amazing Signature One Metre Antipasto Board, which is a must. All our guests left with full belly's and couldn't stop raving how lovely the food and day was.Thank you Fratelli team, for helping to make this special occasion very memorable for us, we look forward to coming back again.
