My daughter is in college in Columbus, and we had dinner here after a big swim meet a couple weekends ago. Nice unoaked Chardonnay for me. Daughter had the Caprese salad and Italian Wedding Soupâbelieve it or not, the salad was decent despite the season (tomatoes). I had the new Imbrigolo Recipes Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (cheese and black pepper). It was delish, like a nice homemade simple Alfredo like you would make at home. Classic. Server was great, attentive. Always a go to for us whatever the town!

This is one of our favorite places. Their lasagne is the best! Pizza is pretty awesome too! They always give good service as their wait staff is very good. I only give 4 out of 5 because the hostess is terrible. In my opinion a hostess should be friendly and somewhat interactive with the patrons, but the girl that was there the last few times has zero personality and does better at helping to clean off tables than greeting people. If you want people to have a good dining experience it starts with when they walk in the door. I still recommend it highly!

Exactly what I wanted in an small, neighborhood, italian restaurant. Quiet (week night), dimly lit but enough light to see what you're eating & who you're talking to, good wine selection and amazing service! Chicken Saltimbocca was delish! Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing ( Our server Asia was delightful ) and the timing of the wine & meal was perfect! Didn't have a chance to sample the desserts but I can't imagine they wouldn't be just a delicious as the rest of the meal I sampled.

Good friends, good food, love of family, and a place where it all comes together. That's Marcella's, a bustling Italian restaurant where you can forget your worries, live in the moment, and appreciate the quality of everything life has to offer. The food
I've been coming to this Marcella's for years - my kids love it, they have a good wine list, and I can get a delicious gluten free meal. But last night's visit was just odd. Our server forgot things we ordered, intruded on our mealtime conversation by insisting on clearing things after we indicated we didn't want her to, etc. But the most bizarre thing of all was what happened when we ordered more wine. She brought over a little carafe and poured it into our (used) glasses, but it wasn't split evenly, so she POURED SOME WINE FROM ONE GLASS TO ANOTHER. What in the world? Again, these were used wine glasses. I do not understand. You just don't do that. Marcella's, I hope you work on staff training; this was weird and unacceptable.Thank you for the review R M. We're so sorry to read your most recent experience at Marcellas left more to be desired and was not up to the exceptional visits you've had in the past. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our guests and have shared your feedback with our management team and chef team at Marcellas. Thank you for bringing your comments to our attention.

Our first visit in years, will likely be our last.First, the smell was like no Italian restaurant I'd ever been in. It smelled like backed up grease traps. Can't judge the appetizer, it was never brought to the table. We canceled it when our dinners were brought out.My dish included mussels, exactly half of which didn't open. You don't eat unopened mussels. When I mentioned them to the waiter he did apologize. No offer of bringing out more.My wife is a pretty easy judge on food she doesn't have to cook, all she could say about it was that "it was alright"Thank you, Mark R. C, for choosing to dine with us at Buca di Beppo. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review and will be sure to share your feedback with our management team. Thanks again for dining with us and for reaching out to us.

I would! We had a party of 7, and every.single.person loved everything. For appetizers, we had the seasonal salad, the Caesar salad, the zucchini salad, the Parmesan creme brulee, the risotto balls, the truffle pizza, the savory biscotti, and the oysters. For dinner, entrees included the short ribs (amazing!), the carbonara pasta, the eggplant parm, and something or other with shrimp. I should also give a shout out to the red sangria and the seasonal margaritas. We were so full, we had to pass on dessert. In addition to the food, service was some of the best Iâve had anywhere.

We were here with a group of friends. The drink selection is solid but service was below standard for a high end restaurant. Once seated it still took time for a server to acknowledge us. Disappointing considering that right off the bat I ordered one of the most expensive wines on the menu for my crew. The menu had a good selection and they did cater to my wife's gluten allergy which was appreciated. All the meals were good but nothing spectacular. Between 4 appetizers and 8 entrees no one had any complaints or glowing remarks. The decor and ambience are lively/ modern, but lack of consistent service is what brings it down a notch. It has promise if the owner and management make an effort to do so

We will be closed from Saturday 6/29 through Saturday 7/6 for our annual vacation. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday 7/9.
An unassuming little Italian restaurant with really friendly owners and servers. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall in Gahanna. The ambience inside is made to give you the feel of a simple Trattoria â relaxed and homey. They have a small wine list but I had no. Complaints with my Chianti. For appetizers, we shared the bruschetta. It was good, but I didnât like the fact that the bread was cold and not toasted. For dinner my son and I shared two dishes: he got the spaghetti meatballs and I got the shrimp and lobster special in creamy sauce. I liked both the dishes. The meatballs were nice, large, and juicy, and the spaghetti was cooked just right. The special was filled with a generous portion of shrimps and some lobster. It was delicious but after a while the heaviness of the creamy sauce hit you (so I was happy to have shared the dish :)). My wife got the baked ziti. A very large and heavy dish but flavorful. For dessert, we shared their bread pudding with whiskey sauce and their cheesecake special. I didnât get to trying the cheesecake but the bread pudding was moist and excellent. Itâs a pity that the restaurant is a good 30 mins drive from where we live, but we plan to return. Such a warm and wonderful owner and server. It made for a delightful evening.

On my recent visit to Columbus, I couldnât wait to dine at Z Cucina again so I asked our friends to make a reservation. I was so-o looking forward to the scallops again. However, this visit was a bit disappointing. The restaurant was not very busy on our Thursday night visit, but the weather was gorgeous so we sat outside. I ordered the summer salad and the eagerly anticipated scallops. The salad was fresh and flavorful but the scallops were a bit over cooked and extremely salty from the prosciutto they were wrapped in. I had to scrape off the prosciutto for them to be edible. Also the crab salsa lacked flavor and had too much mayo. However, the pesto risotto was wonderful. I was glad they had some gluten-free options for hubby. I was really looking forward to that dinner and disappointed that it didnât live up to my memories of the last visit. We want all of our guests to have an amazing time with us. We certainly should have replaced any dish that did not meet your expectations. I hope to hear from you directly so we can learn more about your experience.
