Itâs been a few years but we went back to Buca while in town. We had a small mixed green salad (overpriced!) it was okSmall chicken parm (reasonably priced) delicious!Large spaghetti and meatballs (overpriced)It was ok. Nothing spectacular. Side order of Brussels sprouts ($15 ridiculous) Should never have ordered them. They were cold and hard. Tiramisu (expensive for the portion) this is not the same old tiramisu that we used to love. Small portion. Felt like it could have been a mistake. Will not return. Sad. Thank you, 6happyhikers, for choosing to dine with us at Buca di Beppo. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review and will be sure to share it with our management team. Thanks again for dining with us and for reaching out to us.

Call it classic Italian with a modern twist, or Modern cuisine with Italian influences. Either way, we serve only fresh, top quality food, prepared from scratch. Our menu changes with the seasons, allowing us to make the most of any local and garden fresh
Last night of vacation and this restaurant had nice reviews. We were not disappointed. Pleasant looking on the outside, nice ambiance inside with a welcoming staff. My wife loved the beet salad and I liked the Mezzanote special salad although the dressing need d to be tossed more for better distribution. My wifeâs risotto was quite good but a bit salty for her taste. The veal loin special was outstanding. Very tasty sauce and lovely beans, spinach and carefully prepared potatoes. I noted that the manager was checking every dish as it came out of the kitchen and to me that is the mark of a fine restaurant. We had a nice chat with the manager, Connie afterwards as we were the last diners. A pleasant and knowledgable restaurateur and we will certainly be back the next time in Albany.

After a day of touring and shopping, Iâd worked up an appetite. I was in the mood for Italian food. Thanks to other reviewers at TripAdvisor, I selected Ralphâs Tavern. And, Ralphâs Tavern turned out to be a great choice.Ralphâs dining room and tavern are divided with separate entry points off the front entrance. I went to the dining room. It was fairly busy when I arrived. I was greeted and seated right away. The waitress came by promptly for my beverage order and brought it a minute later. Then, I ordered the Cheese Ravioli at $10.95. It came with salad and Italian bread. I took the House Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing. It was a 5-minute wait for the salad and bread. The salad was larger than expected. Everything was fresh. The salad had two grape tomatoes and two pitted black olives. Those were more than most restaurants give. The salad also had sliced onion and cucumber. The dressing was thick, rich, creamy, and very tasty with small chunks of the blue cheese. There were two slices of Italian bread. They were very fresh. I loved the slightly chewy crust and soft inside. This Italian bread was moist and even textured, too. This bread had no big holes that commonly occur in Italian bread. The bread was so good that I ate both slices. Then, the ravioli dish arrived just as I finished with my salad. The plate had a dozen round, plump ravioli covered with a marinara sauce. They were really good. They were done a little beyond al dente. I would have liked them cooked a minute or so more, but that's my taste. They were still great. I was able to eat about half the ravioli, minus the pinched edges which I cut off because they were just a bit pasty. I took the leftovers to have for dinner the next night at my hotel. They were even better then.Obviously, portions were very generous. Everything was delicious. Service was great. The place was clean.During my visit, drivers from Grubhub showed up several times. Ralphâs take-out was quite popular in the area.I rate my dining experience at Ralphâs Tavern at 5.0. I highly recommend the Italian food there. I can hardly wait to return to the Albany area to eat there again. Although I didnât see a kidâs menu, the regular menu offered half orders on several pasta dishes as well as burgers, subs, and sandwiches, plus personal pizza. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

My friend suggested that we dine at Barcelona's. I had never heard of it before. It is a lovely cozy restaurant located on Western Avenue in Albany by the SUNY campus. It has a Mediterranean ambiance. From the outside it is not impressive but once I walked inside the simple tasteful decor caught my attention. The staff was very attentive. There was a small bar which was busy. It had a romantic charming atmosphere. The menu had a nice variety of choices and dinner for two was $60. For dinner I had the seafood Alfredo's which was delicious. The portion size was perfect. I must confess I ate the entire dish. The fish in the dish was cooked to perfection. My drink from the bar was perfect as was the service. We skipped dessert because we were too full but a couple at an adjacent table had dessert that looked yummy. I will definitely return to Barcelona's. There is a parking lot and we did make a reservation which I would suggest.

This place is so small, you'll pass it by if you blink. Don't blink. Don't pass it by. Stop in. You'll have the dining experience of a lifetime. Impressively dressed waiters. Impressive dinner menu. Impressive service. Impressive food. There wasn't anything NOT TO LIKE about this great little "find" located Uptown Albany on Central Avenue.Never been there before....will be going back soon. From appetizers to the bread to the entrees to dessert, it was an experience not to be missed. From the Eggplant Rollitini to Parmigiana, from exquisite chicken and veal dishes, and the amazing ending of Lemon Cake, you'll walk out completely sated.

The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
I cannot go beyond average on this meal. The server got one order (skinny chopped salad) completely wrong which meant the rest of the table was finished with their main by the time the right meal came - awkward for all. The vegan main plate was uninspiring, the almond crusted salmon was lacking taste. And to top it all off, the server charged us twice for the Skinny chopped salad. We suggest you eat someone else and take away the cheesecake. We are so sorry for this disappointing experience with us, David. You have every right to feel the way you do. We will address this with our team. Next time if there is anything about your experience that can be improved, please let our managers know so we can do our best to make it right. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.

Came with colleagues for dinner. The restaurant is very large with different rooms the ambiance is fun and interesting. We enjoyed several different entrees: 6 oz fillet and angel hair pasta, Cesar salad with salmon; a rigatoni, chicken and peppers dish and shrimp scampi. We each enjoyed a glass of wine (loved the Glendora Reisling). We shared a huge piece of peanut butter cheesecake. Our server Corey was terrific. Prices were reasonable.
