Tipical Italian Restaurant
This is a classic family restaurant with limited choice and simple service but the dishes are really tasty and fresh. We enjoyed homemade tagliatelle with speck and then a porthouse steak. They were excellent and price more than reasonable. This is a kind of restaurant that is more and more difficult to find and it is a petty this is the situation!

Family run restaurant found on the top of Monte Prat. The view of the valley bellow is fantastic with the added bonus of being atleast 8 degrees cooler than at the bottom. The menu is limited, but everything is delicious, and strait from the farm, the mixed grill platter is cooked over an open fire. We return to Monte Prat Verde every year, and usually several times on our trip. This is a restaurant that everyone can enjoy.

They are very kind and pizza is really good. You have to taste their tipical dishes like Amazing sausage. Maybe the outside furniture need some review but food is very good.La pizza è' veramente buona e sono da assaggiare le loro speciali salsicce . La parte esterna andrebbe migliorata ma si mangia molto bene.

A fabulous lunch with family in a restaurant with amazingly friendly staff. What more could you ask for? We had a long lunch with local food cooked by an amazing chef. My son said it was one of his best lunches ever - and heâs over 30 so has eaten quite a few. Some unusual dishes I hadnât tried before but were just amazing. Weâll be back!!!

This is a typical Friulian restaurant, with a charming old-style dining room. It is located in an awesome setting in the middle of the hills in Castelnovo del Friuli.Food... what to say besides excellent... we were here for my grandmother's 90 years and tried a lot of different things. Among everything, the "frico" is a signature dish, and the "Australian Angus tagliata" is also top notch. House wine is just fine (we didn't ask for specific bottles).Service is courteous and nice. There is also good attention to specific diets (one of us had to eat gluten-free). I wasn't the one to pay, but from the menu the pricing looks good as well.

This out-of-the-way restaurant can be found in the upper Friuli, surrounded by the foothills of the Dolomites and beside the great river Tagliamento. It is an outstanding location for an outstanding restaurant. The food was absolutely first class, the service attentive but not cloying, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The frico (pictured in the Trattoria's picture) was one of the best I have ever tasted. So Ivana and Secondo are to be congratulated for their success. I highly recommend this restaurant - and it is worth the drive and the trouble to get there, believe me. Absolutely.

We recently visited Ai Mulinars for Sunday dinner based on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant can't be missed as it is located at the beginning of the road that leads up to Le Grotte di Pradis (caves) in Clauzetto. We found ample parking on this Sunday and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and seated. I found the service to be friendly and efficient. There are two main dining rooms both warmly decorated with an authentic rustic motif. Antique copper pots and cookware were tastefully suspended from a timber beam ceiling and thick rock mason walls. Outdoor seating on a covered terrace was also available for warm weather days. A glowing fireplace added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. Tables were set with fine quality tablecloths and service ware (dishes, glasses and utensils). Our waiter first described some of the specialties on the menu and he was helpful in making recommendations. The menu listed many tempting regional dishes and focused primarily on meat and wild game. We started our meal with a pasta course that gave us the opportunity to taste three different types of pasta. There was squash Gnocchi served up in melted butter atop a smoked shredded cheese; an eggplant roll-up stuffed with smoked speck (cured meat) and topped with an excellent tomato and basil sauce; and a crepe filled with ricotta cheese and walnuts, topped with a Béchamel sauce. All were extremely tasty, though my favorite was the eggplant roll-up.For entrees, I enjoyed grilled lamb chops served with grilled radicchio, sautéed spinach and homemade potato chips. The portion consisted of six tender and perfectly grilled chops, served with the bone portion wrapped in aluminum foil for easier eating. My wife enjoyed three venison (cervo) fillets served with a wild cranberry sauce and grilled vegetables. The meat was also perfectly grilled and quite tasty. All desserts are homemade and I enjoyed an orange torte (crostatta), artistically platted and served with a cup of real whipped cream. My wife's Tiramisu was unremarkable as we prefer a creamier version of this dessert.Prices were reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food served at Ai Mulinars. Our above meal, plus two aperitifs, two glasses of wine, bottled water and a cafe totaled 84 Euro. Ai Mulinars prominently display a framed 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence at the entrance. I plan on a return visit to Ai Mulinars and I highly recommend this restaurant to the TripAdvisor community.

Why you would go to Italy and have a burger I donât know! We arrived here because the restaurant we wanted to go to was over booked. Out of desperation and hunger we decided to give this a try. The food was mediocre. I had a pizza which was horrible, the rest of my family had burgers and they said they were ok. We were there with my grandsons, 2 months and 2 years. The service was so horrible, they totally ignored us and seated us in the warmest part of the restaurant, the thermometer read 33 Celsius. We asked to be moved outside, but totally ignored us. We were charged for bread, which we never got, and I was charged for extra toppings I didnât ask for. Over all I would truly avoid. I honestly felt compelled to write this to keep people from making a mistake, with so many excellent options in the area.
