This was a very nice family run neighborhood (mostly) take out restaurant. Good, hard working people and nice family. Sadly, they were forced out in a real estate deal very recently and it appears they will not be able to reopen. Their space is being torn down along with all their strip mall neighbors to make way for a new CVS building. Very sad, considering there are two other CVS facilities within minutes of this place.

Mythos is an experience. The owner is a bit forward but elevates a meal into a memorable experience. She is direct, full of stories and spit on with food and wine recommendations. Stuffed grape leaves and lightly fried calamari with jalapeño dipping sauce left my wife and I wanting more, but very full and glad we decided to split a gyro with Greek potatoes and simple Greek side salad did not disappoint. We savored the meal with a glass of red wine that was a cross between a merlot and Cabernet. The grand finale was a lemon custard between filo dough with spanakopita to go.What a great meal and we look forward to visiting again during our next visit.

We ordered Rubens late one evening. They arrived so fast I thought I had ordered Jimmy Johnâs. Then we tasted them, with out a doubt the BEST Ruben I have had in Years. Delicious, thin sliced, piled high corned beef, Perfect taste and texture sauerkraut, Wonderful, must be home made, dressing and the Rye bread Excellently toast to a crisp crunch! Highly Recommended!

Milano's catered our soccer team's dinner at the Fairfield Inn and Suites, Germantown. Our team ordered trays of Caesar Salad,Chicken Parm, Chicken Marsala, Pene Alla Vodka and Baked Ziti. Tony, the owner, supplied us with utensils, bread, plates and the packaging that the food was in was impressive. This dinner made the entire weekend. The group was comprised of parents that work and eat in NYC everyday, so we were definitely impressed. The players filled up their plates and came back for seconds, it was that good. If you attend the Bethesda Showcases then this is the best place to order. Order by trays.

From the outside, youâd never guess what waits on the inside of this gem. Looks like just another pizza joint until you open the door to a charming little dining room, complete with the traditional checkered tablecloths. It appears to be run exclusively by family members, and the warmth is genuine. But itâs really all about the food. Honestly, I donât believe Iâve had better Italian anywhere (including Rome), at any price. The ingredients couldnât be fresher or of higher quality, and the menu changes weekly, depending in part on the best ingredients the chef (Mama - really) can buy. With all that top quality and serious culinary skill, an additional shocker is how reasonable the prices are. This is our new favorite.

I am usually pretty gracious with my TripAdvisor star ratings but I have to give Laurienzo's a low rating because of the terrible gluten free pizzas we keep trying to like. I am all for supporting our local restaurants (especially because ours are limited where we live) but every time I order a gluten free pizza for my son and husband, the pizza is small, overpriced, chewy, has no sauce, and no flavor. Ouch, I know, But I want them to see this to know that although we are not picky eaters, their gluten free pizzas need improvement.

The place is attractive, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. As is usual these days, it seems, it was too noisy. The server was very friendly - when we saw her. Even the manager stopped by to say we should contact her if we needed anything. Server never checked to see if the meal was satisfactory until the very end - I told her it "wasn't bad." She said "wasn't bad"? - and I said "afraid so". We both had the grouper special. Very nice piece of fish - but too heavy-handed on the salt and other seasonings. With good fish, "keep it simple stupid" is always a good mantra. Don't think they've picked up on that. Side salad was cold and fresh, but the vegetable looked like it had been scooped up by a school cafeteria worker and slapped on the plate. Didn't taste much better, either. With so many other options nearby, we won't bother to patronize this restaurant again.

Decided to treat myself for my Birthday lunch here, and enjoyed a wonderfully energetic atmosphere (there was an office party & other birthday party...and clearly a lot of families and friends enjoying sharing a meal together...nice to see) and GREAT Pizza Margherita along with Insalata Caprese (like the pizza, also one of my all-time favorite foods) and classic bruschetta...very enjoyable, very satisfying...a good value. Nice décor, nice service, nice price for nice food...it was a pleasure eating here. Enjoy! :-D

We have picked up pizza from here many times. Its always been quite good. Better than Pizza Hut and most other competitors. The price is reasonable and there always seem to be either coupons or special deals available. You get a coupon with each purchase too. And, unlike I've seen other places, the specials are not skimped down versions of the normal item.

Two colleagues and I stopped by Rise Pies on our way back to Pennsylvania from a business trip in DC. We never heard of Rise Pies but glad we took the chance. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. All three of us opted for the Da Bears pizza which included pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs. It was excellent. I also ordered a salad which was very good. The restaurant and restroom were very clean. Will definitely return.
