Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Charleston. Once a frontier town and home to Daniel Boone, today Charleston is the historic, sophisticated capital of West Virginia and home to a variety of exciting cultural and recreational attractions. The State Capitol, with its gleaming 23-karat gold dome and classic 20th-century architecture, is truly a sight to see. Most of the city's major landmarks are located right around the Capitol, making it easy to see everything. Wander around the meticulously landscaped grounds to view statues of historic figures like Stonewall Jackson and Abraham Lincoln. History and culture buffs will want to spend some time at the Cultural Center, which includes a state museum, reference and archive libraries, a theater and plays host to special events throughout the year. For those who prefer outdoor endeavors, more than a hundred miles of spectacular scenery await you on the Midland Trail scenic highway, also known as U.S. Route 60. Hop off at any point to do some antiquing, biking or hiking. The Kanahwa Forest offers more than 9,000 acres of exploration and recreation just south of town. Shopping, interesting attractions and plenty of outdoor fun make Charleston an ideal getaway.

If you want incredible food thats made fresh daily, stop by our restaurant today. Since 1915, weve built a reputation for quality. All food is prepared using the freshest ingredients.
Fresh salads, Wonderful Pasta dishes and family oriented service. Not a huge seating area so go earlyto get a good seat and enjoy the outstanding rolls and breads. All the foods are obviously long time Leonoro'sfavorite dishes that the family owners have proudly served for years.. Not fancy but very clean and well executed meals from start to finish. Great desserts and service.

I've been eating Anchor pizza since I was a boy and it has stayed true for many years. The pizza has always been very good. The boneless wings are also the best I've had in town. I also enjoy the Squeak sandwiches, nothing else like them in town. It's a great little old school restaurant on the outskirts of town if you want to avoid the Charleston scene. I recommend.

OMG this pizza is so good and so BIG. We had a medium delivered, and thought it was kinda expensive until it arrived. We did half and half...Meat Lover and Hawaiian. The crust is not too thick, and they donât skimp on the toppings. Lovinâ it

for a quick pizza or sandwich or salad this is a good place to go. The staff were friendly and helpful. Though we were tired from driving, this was a good quick stop to eat and walking distance from the hotel.

I have been here a few times. Parking at this restaurant is usually some what challenging unless you come at an off time. You order up front and they bring you the food. Currently they have a lunch special which includes a personal pizza (which is around the size of a medium pizza), side salad, and a drink for $8.99. The pizza and salad is fresh. In general prices are average.

I havenât had Grazianoâs pizza for about 35 years. It was exactly as I remembered! Super crispy thin crust, flavorful not greasy and crisp ground Italian sausage. Itâs a family business that has been making great pizza in WV for years. A local favorite. And a great value- four slices and 2 drinks for $13.

Italian/American Restaurant located in Charleston's Capitol Market
We went during lunch hours. Our food was very good. The waiter was so friendly, and very knowledgeable about the food. After lunch we strolled through the farmers market, where they had beautiful shopping, with wines, different types of foods.

Fazio's is owned and operated by Danny Fazio. Danny has been running the kitchen for over 35 years. In the past year, with the passing of his beloved mother, Nell Fazio, he has also taken over the day to day business operations along with his wife, Marsha
We were visiting friends and Fazioâs is one of their faves. The dining room is cozy, but seating is generous. It was a very relaxing environment. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, even offering tips for sightseeing in WV. We had garlic bread, appetizers, steak, pastas, dessert - all were delicious and served perfectly. I only wish I could remember the bottle of Cabernet we had...that was super good. Will definitely go back next time weâre in Charleston!

We stopped in without a reservation and had a 30 minute wait. Fortunately for us two seats opened immediately at the bar. THe bar tenders were excellent and took the time to discuss the menu and the different beers available. The place was filled with people and the atmosphere was like one big party. Easy to make friends with other bar patrons. The food was perfect, the beer delicious and the service impeccable! Thanks for the awesome review! Come back and see us!
