My wife and I consider ourselves Italian food connoisseurs . Giannfrancos didnât disappoint. We started with a Portobello mushroom appetizer which was delicious. Then came the Wedge salad it was outstanding. My wife ordered her favorite Pollo de Parmigiana it was outstanding, I had the linguini with meatballs with marinara sauce . Visit Giannfrancos if you are nearby well worth the stop .

The 3 times I have eaten here have been very good. The food has tremendous flavor and offers a good dinner portion. It can be pricey though and you only get one small piece of bread. Definitely worth the visit.

Today we enjoyed our second visit to Nutbelly's. I enjoy the cozy, local pub feel. The food and service have always been very good. This is the type of place that makes me wish I was a local and could come and grab some drinks with a bunch of friends.

It was time for lunch and a pit stop on the way from Los Angeles to Pismo Beach, about 3:30 PM one fine Friday, when I passed the Santa Claus Lane sign on US 101. Now Santa Claus Lane no longer exists, except for that sign, but I turned in to see what was there. I found many of the old buildings have been repurposed into a sort of upscale artisan furniture and clothing mall, with a couple of good looking restaurants. We chose Borrelloâs and ate at the lovely patio seating in front. The servers were very friendly and kind, the lunchtime menu was inviting with salads, sandwiches, pizza and other delights. I chose the Torpedo sandwich (pepperoni and salami I believe) with âfringsâ (half fries and half onion rings) for the side dish. My wife chose the pastrami sandwich with salad. Both of our orders turned out to be fabulously delicious in all respects, including the very fresh, seasoned bread buns, the fries, the onion rings, and the salad. We really lucked out by stopping here. Two other parties were dining outside with us, and I overheard both other tables raving over their meals, also. I would love to come back on my next trip.
