I was in Canonsburg area for a business trip and I arrived on Labor Day. I decided to do a little exploring around downtown and came across this pizzeria that was open. Hungry and willing to take a chance, I walked in to order dinner. I ordered a medium pizza, with their sweet tea. The pizza was scrumptious. The pie was thin and had just the right amount of crunch to it. The melted cheese and sauce, the other two cornerstones of a pizzaâs trifecta were delicious. The toppings just complimented the piza to make it delectable. The surprise was the sweet tea which was smooth with just the right amount of sweetness.A pizzeria to harken you back to the days of food craftsmanship in the heartland of America.

If you are looking for coal fired pizza (a little burnt and thin crust) then this is the place in Peters Twp. I do love the wings here they are baked in the pizza oven not fried. Excellent flavor can be a good starter or a meal. Dont forget to try the meatball also

Palazzo 1837 Ristorante is the area's premier Italian dining experience. Located south of Pittsburgh in Washington, PA, Palazzo 1837 specializes in old-fashioned Northern and Southern Italian dishes - steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, and veal. Nestled aga
The ambiance of the restaurant was special in that the owner sought to keep an old inn atmosphere with smaller rooms. We had ten people for graduation in a semiprivate space, which allowed for easily heard conversation. All of our meals received rave reviews from the fabulous Caesar Salad with horse radish to a variety of pasta and fish dishes. There was one concern that a filet was not rare enough.Service was attentive without hovering.Enjoy!

A good place to gather with friends and family. Very kind staff. Over all the pizza is fine, not my favorite but definitely not the worst pizza in town. Something with the pizza didnât sit well for our group. Four members of our group are having stomach issues from our visit last night. Of course this doesnât happen all the time but because of this experience and the fact there are better pizza joints in the area, I donât see us coming back.

Pizza and breadsticks were tasty. $22 and change for a 15 inch 2 topping pizza, 6 breadsticks, and 2 drinks. It took about 15 minutes after ordering and they were not busy, so I would expect to wait awhile if it is a busier time of day.

Breakfast, a coffee bar, full à la carte lunch menu, soup & salad bar, sandwiches, fresh pasta & even dinners to-go!
Our son's wedding was held here. As we are from Ohio, the bride and her family took charge. The setting is a replication of an established Tuscan villa, with a sandstone appearance and shuttered windows outside. Inside is spacious, if needed, and charming accented with a beautiful fireplace. There was ample room, while still feeling intimate â¤ï¸

Sam's has the best slice in Canonsburg. easy to find, (right beside Saris), and orders are ready within a reasonable amount of time. The sauce here is what makes the pizza delicious! Order up, BUT bring along the cash.....cash only at this establishment. There is an ATM on property

I ate lunch here with friends yesterday and enjoyed the visit. I didn't know the area and drove around a bit as on street parking was impossible. I then discovered that there were large free parking areas behind the building and also behind the buildings across the street so check those out when you visit. We tried to make a reservation through Open Table, as indicated on the restaurant's website but couldn't as the OT website said they were no longer participating. I then called the restaurant to reserve and was put through to voice mail. I left a message asking them to call me back as a wanted to make a reservation and couldn't through OT but never received a callback from the restaurant. If it was just me, I wouldn't have eaten here given this difficulty.Once in the restaurant, it was very pleasant and quiet enough that we could converse without shouting. Next time we might try their outside patio, with its fountains and umbrellas as it looked very nice. Our server was excellent and attentive and as is a must for me, she refilled our water glasses without our needing to ask. We all ordered the wedding soup as a starter and it was very good. The bread and dipping oil that they brought without our asking was also quite good. One friend ordered the salmon salad and reported that it was excellent. My other friend ordered the chicken pasta in cream sauce and loved it. I ordered the shrimp linguine in olive oil and it was nicely flavored and delicious. I wish there had been more than 3 shrimp in the linguine but the ones that were there were very fresh and succulent.I would definitely visit this restaurant again as the food was great. Hopefully, they will have worked out the reservations issue by that time.Thank you, Jasgld, for your helpful and positive feedback. We are thrilled to read that you enjoyed our delicious food, attentive service, and comfortable surroundings. We thank you for letting us know about your reservation issue so that we can immediately correct this. We apologize for this. We hope that your next visit is right around the corner. Thank you, Jasgld.
