In the Harrison family since 1898, a multi award winning restaurant and bar
This restaurant is well worth a visit, itâs extensive menu caters for all. I opted for the Salt & Chilli Squid, although slightly greasy, and Chilli was lacking, it was still a very well presented and tasty dish. For mains I opted for the Surf & Turf Burger, the meat in the Burger was delicious, again the slight letdown down was the greasy calamari, but the major fault with this meal was the chips, more than likely a poor quality frozen chip, Chefs donât seem to care about the chips, which can bring their otherwise **** meal, down to just ok, a good wine list although a little pricey, but still well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Pizza was beautiful. That's the most important thing I suppose. Everything else was shambolic and amateurish. The extensive wine and beer menu was great, until you wanted to order from it. Just coors light or Chardonnay....so why give the menu!?Pizza order taken....then informed 10 mins later they had ran out of chicken, could I re order.Wanted the pizza and cinema tickets deal, which she charged for....then told me they had ran out of cinema tickets, and their printer was broken. Same story for 2 other groups, but she would come to the cinema with us and explain. In the cinema, she was told that this had happened before, and they had not been paid for the last group! So we then had to fork out for our cinema tickets, after having paid for the cinema deal in the Pizzeria!!! Was told to come to the pizzeria after the film for a refund....it was closed after the film!!!I will not return. Was something like faulty towers.

This is a fairly mainstream restaurant. Nothing fancy, nothing horrible. Service was good. The room was clean. Food was ok, but unremarkable. Pizzas probably adapted to local tastes, and some ingredients seemed a bit incongruent. For example one the pizzas stated Basil as one of the ingredients, when it arrived it had dried basil on it-Maybe market demand determined this, but every other place Iâve been to always had fresh basil on the pizzas. Pizza base was good. Would go back.

This restaurant is located in an old church so the atmosphere is very charming. Our lasagna, salad, and mini garlic rolls were delicious. The lasagna was some of the best weâve had in Ireland. The service was good and we would definitely eat here again if in the area.

We booked this restaurant for my birthday meal whilst on holiday visiting family. We had booked a table as it was a saturday night & we were greeted with a waitress that was busy and running around and didn't seem interested in us at all. We were told to sit on a sofa and read through a menu and she said she'd return to take our drinks order. About 15 mins later we called over a different waitress who took our drinks and food order and went to walk off ( we were still sat on a sofa). We asked if we could be seated at a table and she just pointed at a table in the corner so we sat there. There is a severe lack of customer service and friendliness. We ate a starter of calamari which was nice and then had pizza and spaghetti bolognese - both tasty and of good quality. For dessert we shared a Tiramisu which didn't taste of much and there was a layer of cocoa powder on top it an inch thick, which choked me with the first spoonful. The prices are a little high - 48 euros for 1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert and a coke and small glass of wine. We wouldn't return or recommend this place - lack of customer service, setting is outdated and they were also playing strange europop music!
