We were recommended this small bistro from our hotel concierge, and it was a phenomenal experience. The arepas and tequeno appetizers were tasty and just the right portion size. I had a great filet and my date loved, loved, LOVED the Red Snapper entree. They have a small but varied wine list, and great service. The owner stopped by a few times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and, the entire experience was a solid a+. It can get a bit cold in there, but other than that, the decor, food and service were top notch.

Went to 46th Street for lunch with friends. The Spinach Salad was excellent and the Garden Salad an Caesar Salad were very good. Rather than having pizza we opted for pasta and had the Canneloni, Ravioli, and Penne with Italian Sausage. All were very good. The bread was the low point of the meal. Overall pretty good and a nice change of cuisine.

They have great ice cream and amazing Italian ice. There are tons of choices and you can make any combination you can think of. The employees are friendly and nice. This is our go to dessert place. We love this place and anyone we bring here loves this place too.

Stopped by the 281 / TPC location on a Tuesday and it was packed. Asked for a,seat in the bar and was immediately made to feel comfortable. Ordered the lunch Pasta Bowl. Salad and breadsticks. I was absolutely amazed. The service was excellent, salad never ending and pasta plentiful. Marinara sauce was a little bland but some red pepper flakes took care of that. My idea of a quick stop for lunch turned into a 1 hour plus dining experience. All for $10. Try it, you will like it!

Love the pizza at Grimaldi's!!! It is very rare that you find a chain restaurant that serves up great food! The pizza crust is baked just right. The ingredients are always fresh. The pesto/chicken pizza is to die for. We were here for a party and the service was excellent. Gaby was amazing! She was attentive and super friendly; her smile lit up the room!!! This is our go-to place for family pizza night and we will be back soon! Thank you Gaby for the great service!!!

Our son is a Midshipman at the US Merchant Marine Academy on Long Island so trips to NYC are frequent for us these days. The only thing we wish we could bring home to SA is the pizza. We finally found it at home. The Margarita pizza has huge slices of buffalo mozzarella and the crust is the perfect foldable thickness. This place isn't just SIMILAR to NYC... it is the real thing! A large pizza is also $3 cheaper here than our favorite Long Island place. Mario's also has the local San Antonio friendliness we all enjoy... "y'all want me to switch to the football game on the TV for while you wait?" You will LOVE Mario's!!!!

This is a small place where you order inside and sit outside to eat. There are lights strung up and music playing. What a great atmosphere! Also, the pizza is great. We had an "everything" pizza. The crust is crisp and tasty and the toppings top-notch. Mary was pleasant and the service was good. Our pizza looked fine to us but was not up to her standards (the crust had a small "hole" in it) so she insisted that we get a free gelato. Yum! We recommend this place and will definitely go again when we are in San Antonio.Aww thanks for the great review it was a pleasure serving you and that's how we make it right at Mario's ! My wife and I stopped in for lunch and no complaints here. Their lunch special if 2 slices, salad and tea for $6.98 was hard to beat and my wife's pesto pasta, she said was really good.
