Local typical Friulian with a long tradition on his shoulders, since 1930 families Savio and Del Pino family run with the restaurant offering the best cuisine of the Friuli region. Two large rooms for a total of 55 seats and the irreplaceable natural warm
This is a local restaurant in a small town in Bueriis, Friuli, Italy. It is a family run business serving excellent Friulano specialties included a variety of Fricoâs. Frico is a fried cheese and potatoe dish typical for this area, there are different renditions with herbs and meat, all delicious. They serve a daily all inclusive lunch, varied menu, very good! Also there is a fine dining area with an Al a carte menu, for both lunch and dinner. They are closed on Tuesday.Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try authentic Friulano food

Here you can have one of the best pizzas of Friuli Venezia-Giulia in an exquisite location, right next to the Castle of Colloredo di Montalbano (province of Udine). The restaurant is managed by a very kind and nice family which is always ready to welcome you in the warmest way. To be sincere, I wasn't very keen on pizza until I first tasted the one made by "Alle Antiche Scuderie": the ingredient formula, kept secret by the chef, is simply amazing!!! A rich collection of other meals and marvellous desserts completes the opera. I really advise you to go there, it's unique!

Restaurant Carnia is situated on the SS13 just north of the strip mall Carnia Market. The restaurant is part of Hotel Restaurant Carnia. We stopped there several times for coffee and a sandwich at the Bar section. I must say, the Restaurant Carnia has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very inviting. Sitting at the outside tables and watching the traffic pass by on the SS13 stress dissolves like magic. The Bar prices are moderate; food prices in the restaurant are somewhat elevated. However, you will be received with authentic Friulan cuisine. Service of the staff is polite and hospitable. The bathrooms in the basement are roomy and clean. A good stop whether for lunch, dinner or drink with a sandwich at the bar. Next time in the neighborhood we will definitively sit down for lunch.Dear guest, thank you very much for the time you spent to write the review and thank you for the kinds words. We hope you will come to visiting us soon.Best RegardsGiuliana

Trecentesca structure inserted in the majestic setting of the Monte Albano Castle Mediaeval Age settlement in the Friuli region. In the club you can enjoy a fantastic "Pozzo" used to collect water dated 1303. A pictorial view allows you to admire the moun
Amuse bouche based on mushrooms was promising, so were some fantastic grissini, and overall the dinner delivered on the promises. Both our first courses were spectacular. Garganelli with crostacei from Istria were extremely aromatic, the touch of mint was surprising and well- matched. The other primo of spaghetti with raw prawns served cold had even more surprising elements, saffron and liquorice, and they were applied with delicacy and finesse, very unobtrusive, just creating a background flavour atmosphere.Mains were also classy. Both a turbot and a raw tuna were great produce. The caponatina (sweet and sour vegetables) that came with the turbot and the veal cream with the tuna were assertive and apt complements.Maybe the desserts were less great in terms of flavour - a sphere felt more like a display of technique than a powerful dessert (where was the intense apricot taste we were expecting?), and a white chocolate cremeux also lacked punch. Mind you, both were good desserts, but they lacked the wow factor of the rest of the meal.Service was discreet and efficient. The environment, outside on a terrace or in a garden, was pleasant indeed in the warm season, and also the rooms inside looked very nice. Prices are high but justified by the quality. The cover charge includes, besides bread and all the nibbles and nicely appointed tables, a complimentary and good local bubbly (sparkling Ribolla): this a gesture of hospitality that is ever rarer and which I appreciated.

If you're after an authentic Friulano meal you can't go past this picturesque small farmhouse. The menu is small (always a good sign of freshness) and dishes well prepared from high quality locally sourced produce. The owners are friendly, polite and relaxed. Definitely a place worthy of stopping if you appreciate the Slow Food philosophy!

A nostro parere qui si mangia realmente bene pagando il giusto. Da sottolineare, fra l'altro, la cortesia e la professionalità del personale... certamente torneremo... grazie!

After the ânostalgicâ entrance (spend time and check the pictures...), have a seat and be ready for the owner. We got no menu, no suggestions, no prices. And we accepted the challenge. We got an incredible starter with prosciutto and burrata, followed by the most tasty meat ever (note the black salt on it). No more space for dessert, but I would bet on tiramisu! For the traditionals: you can get menu, suggestions and even prices - just ask . Not cheap.

Ideally located opposite the duomo in the centre of the town the restaurant has terrace tables and an indoor bar and tables. A cut above everything else around. Innovative menu including vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes including, of course, the local proscuttio in large portions priced at pennies. The best pasta I have ever eaten - and I have eaten plenty. Home made pasta with a tomato, olive and herb sauce unparalleled anywhere. With the antipasto, their own baked bread, a local baked dish similar to but tastier than pizza, innovative deserts impossible to leave hungry.Chef came to talk to us a number of times and has enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff.Restaurant recommended two different wines and what was truly amazing was the ultra low price for the whole evening. I wish I could dine here often.
