We enjoyed the pre fixe luncheon at La Strada for my birthday. My wife had the Pasta Fagioli soup (close to her grandmotherâs) & Fresh Snapper, I had the Caprese salad & Veal Sorrentino. We enjoyed the flavors & portions were so generous we took home the two cannolis. Nick our server was superb. Highly recommend.
These fries, though! Addictive! Had a really good turkey club pannini and my coworker has awesome nuclear chicken wings. Can't beat lunch for less than 20 bucks for 2 people!

This restaurant is easy to miss - it is to the immediate right of a small pizzeria in the strip mall called Village Green Shopping center - signage is not clear. The dishes are traditional Italian-American - The menu can be downloaded here http://www.dinospizzanj.com/Menu.html - We had a variety of dishes (veal, sausage, chicken etc) and they were all good and of large size. Taste was good, and so was presentation. It's BYOB. The staff is very friendly, helpful and flexible.

We get delivery. They offer family specials, with pizza, sub sandwich, salad, stuffed shells - it's fairly priced and feeds a small party. Large pizzas are good, a bit too much oil for my taste. The crust is crispy though, and chewy, and the sauce is fair-to-good.

I just came back from Mama's extremely disappointed. We got two dishes, chose the dish from the specials popular items menu thinking that it will match my expectation. I had good Italian and bad Italian in life but I have never had such a cheap tasting meal as these dishes. Same was with appetizers. I tried to eat but I couldnât. I asked waitress to take it back because I am returning the dish. Chef(or owner), who was hosting a friend in front of our table came over and acted very concerned while i was looking at my receipt as I was signing and calculating tips. He never offered to take the price out when full and nearly untouched plates were returned. It was not my intention but it might have been a right thing to do. My dish was Pescatore described in menu as seafood with basil and tomato sauce. Well, there was no taste of fresh ingredient at all but overwhelming aroma of dried oregano sauce that you could get at Shop Rite. I have never complained at any restaurant and felt very uncomfortable to return dish but in this case me and my partner were siting and watching our plates that we could not even touch and looking at the cook who was hosting his friend in front of us made me to ask why did the menu offered basil for ingredient and we couldnât taste or see it and meal did not looked fresh. He said âthere is basil as wellâ. Whatever that might mean. I am writing this for those who are browsing for good Italian place in town and do not plan to waste time on disappointment.PSI was there about a year ago and food was different. Never will visit again. Italian food deserves better.Hi Maia, First, thank you for your honest review. I do remember your visit to our establishment, and I am sorry that you had a negative experience. I recall walking to your table, and speaking with you for several minutes about our food and preparation, offering to remake the dish more to your liking. I hope that you will visit us again, as it truly is important for us to have our patrons engage with Mamas in a positive manner. We are a family owned and operated establishment and value our guests after every visit. I realize that you are upset at the moment, but I urge you to please contact me on the phone 908-852-2820 (ask for Tom or Sheri) or email me directly at [email protected] so that we can hopefully rectify your experience. Dino's is a low key pizza place with outstanding food. Always use delivery ..food comes hot and delicious and faster than I expect. Delivery dudes are always pleasant. Better than most upscale Italian restaurants in the area. Best of all is their Pizza. Blows every local pizza place away. Chicken Parm is excellent and everything else we've ordered. Nicely done.

If youâre looking for a location with an extensive menu, this is the place. The food is really good and this time we had the âspecial pizzaâ. Our friends suggested ordering the pizza well done as their experience has been pizzas with lots of topping tend to have soggy dough inter all the filling. Their suggestion was right on and the pizza was delicious with a very nice crust. Weâll visit again.

We ate at Bistro 46 for our Daughters birthday with her children. I had a special Chicken Saltimbuco that was fantastic. My wife had the special Monk fish which was equally delicious. Our daughter had the Filet Mignon and was able to change the potatoes and vegetables served with the Short Ribs. Very flexible. The Grandchildren had pasta. Bistro 46 is a BYOB. The French Coconut pie was delicious and rich. This is the second time we have eaten here. I would eat there again.
