Brought our grandkids here during spring break. I had sausage rigatoni and it was delicious and the grandkids had the chicken alfredo and they also loved it. Our server was Shea and she took excellent care of us. I recommend eating here.

True NY pizza. While visiting friends in Colorado they ordered two pizzas one night for dinner, one 16-inch and one 14-inch. They fed 6 adults with plenty left over. The pies were perfect: great crust, great sauce, loaded with veggies and other toppings. For those originally from NY or Boston, this is "real, legitimate" pizza!

Papa Franks has been serving Italian food for many years in Broomfield. It is located in a small strip mall; however, they still have a very loyal customer base. My family routinely orders a 2-3 person take out family style meal from Papa Franks. From what I gather, their business appears to be fairly mixed with sit down customers and take out service. The homemade pasta is amazing! Our family has served their pasta for kid's birthday parties and many special events. The meatballs and the sausage are equally delicious, be sure to try one of each!

"You canât make great pizza from bad ingredients; itâs simply our business philosophy." OUR PURPOSE âTHE DOUBLE DâS EXPERIENCEâ Our devoted family gives this community an extraordinary establishment; to celebrate togetherness and life's delicious offering
Needed a Friday dinner spot that wasn't crazy busy out by the mall. Had never tried DD and the reviews were a bit erratic, but on the plus side, the beer list was consistently mentioned in positive terms. So, we gave it a try. I'd say the pizza was pretty good -- like the combinations, although most of us (vegetarians) made our own. The prices were pretty high in my opinion, but again, the pizza was pretty good. As advertised, the beer list was very good -- and that may sell it for most. The other nice attribute was that they had board games that you could play while you waited. Now, I only noticed this on the way out. That's too bad because our waits were LONG. Not just for the food, but between every step of the process. I know it isn't the wait staff's fault in those cases (the one server was working hard) -- so, management, listen up: get some more staff scheduled, ok?Good afternoon Russell :)I appreciate your review of us, we are in the process of training a few new team members as the school year tends to create turnover and even though we staff based off of projected average number of guests unforeseen things sometimes happen and slow down the process which is our responsibility to plan better. We'll keep focusing on our training and preparation, earning your business by providing our promised "on purpose" guest experience. You're the best,Ted Dorr, Head Pizza Fanatic

I had my version of the Ruby (hold the olives). It was scrumptious. A light alternative pizza with a perfect crust from their wood burning oven. I added the table balsamic for a little extra kick. Highly recommend the caprese salad as an appetizer. We also ordered the margarheta and added Italian sausage-yummy. Nathan was an incredible server! Topped lunch off with sea salt caramel gelato. Time for a nap!

Our mission is to serve great Italian meals in a warm and comfortable setting. Join us...let's get to know each other...
Obviously some have different tastes, but we found the food average. The red sauce is sweeter, lacks spice and taste, rolls are great. One had the chicken Parmesan that was just ok in our opinion and came with very little red sauce. I had the combo calzone and it was terrible, lacked âgoodiesâ served with small amount of red sauce, more like a big roll than a folded pizza. There are better choices in the area. While we donât like the Olive Garden that much, itâs better choice in our opinion, better price. Service was excellent, place was busy so somebody likes it. Atmosphere good, open or not crowded tables. Rolls served are great.

Our waiter tried. Communication challenges on drinks and entrees. Lasagna was burnt on ends. Bread disappointing. Meatballs ok. Gnocchi the highlight of the meal. Tiramisu good, strawberry / whipped cream mostly cream, cannoli ok. Will not return . And watch where you sit as the sun will blind you and there are no shades.
